Zero was an anti-villainous protagonist in Shotgun Boy. He was a monster experimented on by the MM Corporation and contained the powers used by One in the sequel Sweet Home.
His Evil Ranking[]
His Villainous Deeds[]
- Killed a husband who was abusing the woman he took in. While this did help stop the abuse, the wife ended up being horrified and crying for her now dead husband.
- Allied himself with a group of criminals after being homeless, doing various crimes to stay sheltered and fed such as prostitution.
- After deciding humans are unworthy, he went on a killing spree starting with the 8 criminals taking him in, although they somewhat deserved to die.
- Killed a group of Variants who seemingly did know wrong and end up begging others for help.
- Monsterized a kind woman who was helping him by making her live in a dream of her desire, though Zero was trying to do this as a reward for her.
- Uses a monsterization tumor on both Gyuhwan and Seongbin, the latter of whom goes somewhat insane and uses his powers to go on a mass murder spree.
- Invades Seongbin's memories and forces him to relive his traumatic childhood.
- Is extremely brutal and unempathetic when killing Three and Four, two Variants. While they are homicidal mosnters who will kill the children with no thought, it is still easy to sympathize with them when they cry out for their comrades while Zero insults them for not having souls.
- Uses excessive self-defense by telekinetically attacking Shinyeong Kang, breaking Jongpil Shin's leg and ripping off Jayden's fingers.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- Due to his child-like nature, he cannot tell the difference between right and wrong.
- He is tragic due to being forced to survive as an orphan and running into the worst of humans, even being forced into prostitution and beaten. After this, he was taken in by the MM Corporation who constantly experimented on him. Due to seeing the worst of humanity, he genuinely believes putting them out of their misery is the right thing to do.
- Empathizes with Seongbin Yu, despite the horrible atrocities he has commited.
- Cares for nature, as he is sad when killing a tree.
- He fails the heinous standard to One and Seongbin Yu who did worse with less resources.
- He redeems himself when befriending Gyuhwan, who teaches him the value of humanity, eventually sacrificing his life to save him and his friends by facing off against One or the MM Corporation.
