“ | Let me tell you something. I was on the fast track once. Employee of the month, every month, forever. I would walk these halls and people would AVERT THEIR EYES! I HAD RESPECT! And then they assigned me... you. Now look at me. I can't close the deal on a couple of flannel-wearing maggots? Everybody's laughing at me... and they're right to do it. So! Say "yes", don't say "yes"; I'm still going to take it out of your asses. It's personal now, boys, and the last person in the history of Creation you want as your enemy... is me. And I'll tell you why: Lucifer may be strong, but I'm... petty. I'm going to be the angel on your shoulder for the rest of eternity. | „ |
~ Zachariah to Dean and Sam Winchester. |
Zachariah is a supporting antagonist in Season 4 and the secondary antagonist of Season 5 on the CW television series, Supernatural.
He is the direct superior of the angel, Castiel, and the second command of both Michael and Raphael, just like most angels he sees humans as inferior, but he manages to take it to the extreme with torture and personal cruelty.
He is portrayed by Kurt Fuller.
His Evil Ranking[]
His Villainous Deeds[]
- Just like every angel he was xenophobic to humans, believing them to be lesser.
- He got rid of Sam and Dean's memories, putting them into a workplace where the ghost of P.T Sandover was murdering people, all so he could prove they were not taught by John Winchester or given it by God, but they are natural born hunters.
- Like the other angels, his goal was to allow Sam to break the 66 seals so that Michael could fight Lucifer and fulfill his destiny, resulting in millions of human casualties.
- When Dean denied being the vessel for the archangel Michael, he first broke Sam's legs, gave Dean stage 4 stomach cancer, removed the lungs of Sam, and threatened to torture them for multiple hours.
- When Castiel attacked and killed his foot soldiers, instead of using his power as a high-ranking angel to defeat Castiel, he allowed his goons to be killed.
- After Dean and Sam were sent to heaven, he tracked down the Winchesters and tried to kill them.
- Using a fake Mary Winchester, he emotionally tortures Sam and Dean by calling her a milf and asking Dean why everyone leaves him.
- While in a bar he fakes a relationship with a man named Stuart and when Michael manifests himself and kills both the bartender and Stuart, he happily leaves when he realizes that Michael spared him.
- He manipulates Adam Milligan into accepting to be the vessel of Michael, but it turns out he never truly wanted him and he only used him as bait for Dean, afterward, making him vommit blood.
- Officially luring the Winchesters into a trap with Adam, he throws Sam against the wall and gives both Adam and Sam Hemorrhaging.
- It's highly unlikely he was going to heal both Sam and Adam as instead of healing them he continued to summon Michael.
Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]
- Though he passes the baseline, the problem is most of the angels were also willing to allow Lucifer into the world and kill thousands to millions of humans, and torture isn't enough for the standards of the series, causing him to not stand out.
