Bring, ring, ring, ring, ring...
~ Doppio whenever he hallucinates a phone.
I've made up my mind. I'm going to see through him for sure this time! Damn... I'll get within two meters of him no matter what!
~ Doppio's resolve against Risotto Nero.

Vinegar Doppio is one of two secondary antagonists (alongside Risotto Nero) of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind. He is the right-hand and alter-ego of the boss of Passione, Diavolo.

His Evil Ranking[]

His Villainous Deeds[]

  • Ordered Squalo, a member of Unita Speciale to kill or capture Bucciarati and Giorno.
  • Acted as the right-hand of the crime syndicate known as Passione for several years, committing various crimes.
  • Angrily pokes a fortune teller's eye and attacks him for getting too close to finding his identity.
  • Assaulted his Taxi Driver when he almost saw an envelope with his information (although it was somewhat justified since the driver was acting like a jerk towards him)
  • He disgiused as a child playing football so that Diavolo could approach Abbacchio and kill him.
  • Manipulates Bruno Bucciarati into taking him to the colosseum so he can kill his gang or let Diavolo kill the protagonists.

Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]

  • Most of his crimes are generic aiding and abetting, thus he fails the Heinous Standard to many other villains.
  • His villainous deeds are mainly done under Diavolo's orders, making him a Villain by Proxy.
  • He has unrequited love and loyalty towards Diavolo, having served him without question his entire life even up until death.
  • Is genuinely affable when not provoked towards everybody, evidenced by when he gives a toy phone he used to a little girl on a plane.
  • After all, he saved Bucciarati from falling on the road and being run over by a car.
  • Has comedic moments that detract from his villainy, such as picking up random objects and talking into them like a phone and telling Diavolo to shut up to not blow his cover which was truly satisfying.
  • His death is played for sympathy, as he starts begging desperately for his boss to call him again, and saying that he feels lonely, while slowly dying in Bucciarati's body.
