Villainous Benchmark Wiki

Nominations for articles to be featured on the front page.

Guidelines[]

  • Nominations must be at the very least 350 words long.
  • An article is featured every month, or at the admins' discretion.
  • Whichever article has the most votes at the end of the month is featured for a month.
    • Each downvote counts as a point down for the nominee.
    • In case of a tie, the one with fewer downvotes wins.
  • Admin votes carry the same weight as regular users' votes.
  • All nominations and votes must be signed with four tildes (~~~~). Unsigned nominations and votes will be nullified.
  • Nominations and votes CANNOT BE CHANGED. Each user can only vote ONCE, for and against.
  • An article cannot be nominated twice in a row (if an article was nominated in the previous voting, it cannot be nominated again in the current one).
  • Only five nominations max for every monthly voting are allowed. Any nomination surpassing this limit will be automatically disqualified.
  • CHEATING WILL NEVER BE TOLERATED. Any user who starts downvoting candidates just to rig the results or go asking other users to vote on his candidate will receive a warning and, in case of reoccurrence, a one-month ban. No exceptions. DO NOT CREATE SOCKPUPPETS JUST TO MAKE A CANDIDATE WIN!!

Suggestions[]

  • Be original and creative with the nominations.
  • Don't vote against a villain if you haven't read the article about it yet.
  • Don't vote against a villain just because you know nothing about them.
  • Don't say anything that may be offensive to another.
  • If you're going to vote against, present an actual argument for your reasoning. "They're boring" or "I don't like them" aren't arguments.

The correct nomination format is as follows:

  • With the the 15th anniversary of Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Prosecutor's Gambit (a.k.a. Prosecutor's Path) coming next month, I thought it was a solid time to propose its main antagonist and of the best villains in all of the series. Here's the Man Who Masterminds the Game: Simeon Saint (a.k.a. Simon Keyes) ! Initially a rather timid and quirky guy that was falsely framed as for Ace Attorney tradition that appears in the second case, Simeon eventually reveals himself as the mastermind behind everything so far: from Bastian Rook's death, to Bronco Knight's death, to Kay Faraday's kidnapping, to Shaun Fenn's kidnapping and so on. He didn't even did any dirty deed by himself, he just tricked everyone around him into doing it, Edgeworth was just the key chess piece for him. The only kill that he actually did was the Di-Jun Wang's body double, and even that was in self-defense and an asshole victim to top it. The only other Ace Attorney Big Bad to pull a No Kill run was Mael Stronghart, but even then, he was far more powerful. In fact, another thing that makes Simeon unique is his minimal amount of resources. He is not a high ranking official, nor a police chief, nor a respected lawyer, nor some sort of international spy, nor a wealthy actor, nor a CEO, nor a judge or even a queen of whole nation. Simeon Saint just had himself and his natural skills, and yet he managed to be a far more successful villain than all of them combined. Even after being defeated, he was still successful in his mission: gain revenge on everyone that tormented him in his entire life, and it worked. Now they were either dead or arrested, one could argue for the better, since they were all just as bad, if not much much worse than him. Overall, Simeon Saint is a very unique villain that makes himself speak a lot (when people figure his true nature anyway.) in this franchise, and with the recent release of the Investigations Collection, which gave the series more attention, I think that Simeon Saint could get a decent shot here, as a nice headline.

  • February 6, 2026 will mark the 11th anniversary of The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, the second theatrical SpongeBob SquarePants film. I figured since multiple other characters, both heroes and villains, have been headlined across multiple affiliated sites, I figured why not headline the film's main antagonist, Burger-Beard, played by Antonio Banderas?
