~ Victor about to kill Wallace as the Were-Rabbit |
Lord Victor Quartermaine, simply known as Victor Quartermaine, is the main antagonist of DreamWorks' 11th full-length animated feature film Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, which is Aardman's 2nd feature film.
He is a cruel, aristocratic hunter and Philip's owner who is obsessed on killing the Were-Rabbit in order to marry Lady Tottington in exchange. He is Wallace's arch-nemesis.
He was voiced by Ralph Fiennes.
His Evil Ranking[]
His Villainous Deeds[]
- He attempted to shoot a rabbit in Lady Tottington's garden in spite of her requests not to.
- Upon seeing Wallace hanging out with Tottington, he makes an attempt to beat him up in the woods out of spite only for Wallace to end up defeating him and transforming into the Were-Rabbit.
- Knowing that the Were-Rabbit is really Wallace, Victor forms a plan to kill him with "24 Carrot" golden bullets.
- He locks up Gromit in a cage while taunting him so that he would not interfere with his attempt to kill Wallace.
- When Lady Tottington tries to stop him from killing Wallace, he pins her by ramming a pitchfork into her hair before continuing the hunt.
- He makes an attempt to kill Wallace by shooting a golden carrot bullet at him only for Gromit to end up destroying the bullet with propellers of a plane.
- He only wants to marry Lady Tottington, because he wants her money, not out of any love or affection.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- While forcing Lady Tottington to marry him is enough to pass the baseline, he fails the heinous standard of the Wallace and Gromit franchise. Although Preston and Anthony Trumper are unfair comparisons due to possessing higher resources (with the former being stronger and the latter having access to technology while Victor just has a dog and a gun), he is still massively outheinoused by Piella Bakewell, who killed multiple bakers with even less resources as all she had was a rolling pin.
- He is too often played for laughs with comedic moments to be NPE such as:
- Him getting his toupee sucked off into a machine.
- Him getting sucked into that machine itself.
- Him putting a black hare onto his head mistaking it for his toupee.
- Wallace's clothes landing on him as he transforms into the Were-Rabbit.
- Him and Reverend Clement Hedges repeating "a bullet" in a dramatic tone while thunder strikes.
- Him telling Officer Albert Mackintosh that the beast was not killed with the officer repeating it over a megaphone, causing a panic at the festival.
- Him getting his head cartoonishly smacked into his body by Wallace in Were-Rabbit form.
- Him landing in a cotton machine ending up turning his hair pink.
- Him getting sprayed in the eyes by Lady Tottington.
- Him telling Lady Tottington that he likes her with her hair pinned back after doing so.
- Him getting his pants strapped on a windmill.
- Him jumping on his gun with anger when failing to kill Wallace.
- Him getting whacked in the back of the head with a giant carrot by Lady Tottington.
- His defeat where he gets put into a fake Were-Rabbit costume by Gromit, gets bitten by Philip, and being chased out by an angry mob.
- He cares about his dog Phillip as he never abuses him and treats him with respect, even when he bit him in the butt while thinking that he was the Were-Rabbit, not knowing that it was Gromit who put him in the Were-Rabbit disguise.
