Velvette is a major antagonist in the adult animated musical dark comedy series Hazbin Hotel, serving as a supporting antagonist in Season 1 and one of the two secondary antagonists (along with Valentino) of Season 2.
She is a childish but powerful Overlord of Hell and a member of a trio of Overlords known as "the Vees" along with Vox and Valentino. While Vox is focused on technology and Valentino on pornography, Velvette's signature is social media, being an important social influences in Hell's media.
She is voiced by Lilli Cooper.

In General[]
- She is a tyrannical and power hungry Overlord of Hell that owns hundreds of souls who she treats horribly. They are afraid of her because, Velvette verbally insults them and belittles them.
- She is the creator of the Love Potion, which is basically a date rape drug, and sells it to all of Hell.
- She is the one who provides Valentino with it, enabling him to rape and abuse his employees, specifically Angel Dust, who has gained severe PTSD because of that.
- She is a warmonger, trying to convince the other Overlords of Hell, to wage war against Heaven in order to grab more territory.
- While she did have a few detracting comedic moments such as acting like an immature teenager in front of the Overlords and the Vees, she subverts them in season 2, where she is taken more seriously.
Season 1[]
- When Vox, came to see her after Valentino's violent outburst, she is seen mistreating her models, constantly insulting them and demeaning them. She also didn't care about her best model being torn apart by Valentino any more than a simple setback.
- She went along with Vox's plan to use Sir Pentious, to spy Charlie and Alastor. She also called Pentious, pathetic, desperate and without any direct ties to them, implying that she was going to throw him under the bus in case he got caught.
- After discovering that angels can die, announced her intention to start a war against heaven, although acting recklessly would cause several deaths.
- After her idea was shut down, she started insulting Zestial and the other Overlords in order to fume them against Heaven. She also fought with Carmila Carmine through song and almost realized that Carmila was connected with the angel's death.
- She along with the other Vees use Vox's numerous hidden cameras to enjoy the Hotel's failure out of pure sadism.
- After Extermination day is canceled, she along with the other Vees intend to use the power vacuum as an opportunity to seize and take over the Pride Ring.
- Alongside Valentino, agrees with Vox's plan to take over all of Heaven and Hell, expressing a desire to rip off Angel's wings and make them dresses.
Season 2[]
- She, along with Vox and Valentino, groom a sinner into working for them, exposing her privacy and ultimately casting her aside when her fame expires.
- She attended a meeting where it was discussed which trends are worth committing murder over.
- She showed absolutely no remorse about her previous stunt with Carmila Carmine and told Vox and that he is lucky she didn't skin her alive when the latter called her out on it.
- She ultimately went along with Vox's plan of taking over both Heaven and Hell in order to better her label and to rip off the wings of angels and make them dresses. She also shares Vox's God complex to an extent.
- She along with Vox went to Charlie's Hotel with the intention of further ruining it's reputation. She later released edited videos of Charlie, posing her as dictator and falsely claiming that she struck her with an open fist.
- She joins Vox in an all out battle with Alastor which results to many deaths. She also nearly kills and badly injures Husk.
- She and Valentino, aid Vox into hosting a rally against Heaven, where they humiliate a powerless against them Lucifer and refuse to accept Heavens apology, officially declaring war on them.
- She fakes an apology to Carmilla Carmine so she and the Vees can get her to build a weapon of mass destruction for them, when she was completely remorseless about the whole thing. It's also implied she and the Vees are going to use Lucifer as a living battery for the weapon.
- She fought against Nifty while trying to stop Baxter from delivering a message from Sir Pentious to prove Vox wrong, almost killing them.
- Although she helped Charlie and the other overlords destroy the weapon in the end, it was purely for pragmatic reasons: she and Valentino did it just so they won't get killed and it does not make her on and off.
- She undermines her friendship with Vox, although considering Vox's actions, he deserves it.
Why Doesn't She Stand Out?[]
- Although her incitement of warmongering allows her to pass the baseline, and while she cannot be compared to the likes of Adam, Lute or Sera, given they have more resources and power, Velvette fails to meet the high heinous standards compared to her business partners Valentino, who regularly abuses and rapes Angel Dust onscreen and implicitly does similar things to other employees and Vox, who was a serial killer turned mass murderer, commits mass brainwashing to the point of turning Angel Dust into a sleeper agent, actually puts into practice a scheme to takeover Heaven, and blasted the deadly weapon of the Might of Lilith all across Hell. She also fails to Crimson who drowned a plethora of demons and turned them into trophies and I.M.P's Blitzø and Millie who regularly assassinate people for a living and have far more brutal crimes that are shown onscreen. Although it is implied that she manufactures date rape drugs, so far she relies on Fridge Horror. Resources don't help, since she's an overlord just like Val, Crimson, Blitzø and Millie are mere imps, placing them in the lower tier of Hell’s hierarchy.
- She cares for her fellow Vees and Shock-wav:
- She gets along well with Vox and Valentino, apparently having a real friendship with them and hiding with them during the extermination. She affectionately referred to them as “the boys” when she was talking about them to the other Overlords and told them that they had together devised a plan against Heaven. She also seems to want to rule Heaven together with them as deities. While she later ends her friendship with Vox, she and Valentino were going to take his head to prevent him from dying in the explosion, implying that even though their friendship was over, she still cared enough not to let him die. However, her friendship with Valentino remains, as she even comforts him when he feels bad after being displaced by Vox.
- She seems to have some degree of affection for Shock.wav, as a text between the two when she is about to fight Niffty has her thanking him for telling her about Niffty and Baxter breaking into their tower, referring to him as "babes".
