Velgrynd is an major antagonist in the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.

Her Evil Ranking

In General

• While she did redeem herself later she didn't feel remorse for her past crimes and wasn't an true one anyways still since she will still do immoral things to obtain her goals meaning she is technically an Karma Houdini.

Her Villainous Deeds

• Aided Rudra Nam Ul Nasca in his many warcrimes in his conquest.
• Killed thousands of soldiers from Dwargon by burning them all to death and was described in the novel with her blood raining down everywhere like rain.
• She attempted to strangle her brother Veldora during their fight where it got him brainwashed.
• She attempted to kill Rimuru Tempest when she and Veldora tried to kill him under Rudra's orders.

Why She Doesn't Stand Out?

• While her crimes are more than enough to pass the general baseline, nearly all of them were under Michael's brainwashing making her fail the series' absurdly high heinous standard to him.
  • Even if they were on her free will, she holds her resources back too much to do worse due to her being one of the members the True Dragon race being one of the most powerful of the series which makes her badly fails the heinous standard to Guy Crimson, Veldora Tempest and Milim Nava (The latter two who are Non-Villain IHs) who did much worse and caused far more deaths than her with similar or lower resources.
  • While it was stated she killed more before, an exact kill count or what acts she before isn't specified enough making her suffer from fridge-horror.
• Even before being brainwashed she like many of the villains of the series is an Grey Zone character so she can't be PE or NPE as she is well intended extremist who wish to fulfill her husband's wishes.
• She got too many redeeming qualities:
  • She is tragic due to her being brainwashed by Michael and her husband
  • She cares for her siblings Veldora and Velzard despite their conflicts.
  • She can be affiable to a few people
  • She loves her husband Rudra Nam Ul Nasca, later his reincarnation Masayuki Rudra Nam Ul Nasca going through the trouble of recovering his soul.
• She is freed by Rimuru Tempest and goes to the side of heroism in trying to stop Feldway and Michael from destroying the world.

Trivia

• Velgrynd is the only the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Villainous Benchmark to not be introduced in the Anime yet though she did cameo in "The Lightspeed Hero".
