Tord Larsson is the main antagonist of the 2005 British web series Eddsworld.
In the original years, 2005-2008, he served as one of the main protagonists before he left in 25 ft Under the Seat. He returned as a villain in 2016. The character is inspired by a real-world friend of the show's creator, Edd Gould. Tord is Norwegian but lives in the UK alongside his fictional housemates, Edd, Tom, and Matt. He is often depicted wearing red, which lead to people theorizing him being the Red Leader. He is also the former friend (not Tom) now archenemy of Edd, Tom and Matt.
He was voiced by Tord Larsson in 2005-2008, and Jamie Spicer-Lewis in The End.
His Evil Ranking[]
His Villainous Deeds[]
- As mentioned by Zanta Claws, he played paintball with real guns and even smile when he's thinking of it.
- He engages in the massacre of the gang's clones later on, murdering at least 12 of them onscreen with his machine gun and a grenade, while this was in self-defense, as the clones tried to kill him and his friends, this was still very brutal.
- In Zombeh Attack, after the gang mistakenly hits a person by the car and has the crush where their car is broken, he complains loudly about the person that "destroyed their car", instead of being shocked at killing someone.
- He once tried to go into the women's bathroom instead of the men's, and he would've done it hadn't Edd stopped him. It's implied that he may have tried to go in there so he could rape some women.
- In 25ft Under The Sea, right before he leaves, he runs over Tom for not being sad that he was leaving.
- In The End, he began to harass Tom throughout the first part which makes him fed up with him and leave his house out of anger, all in order to get rid of him and get his ultimate weapon without getting in his way. When Edd and Matt barged into his room, he takes them to the market so he could go back to his former home to get the weapon. As Tom returns to his house and confronts him, he began to use his giant robot to kill Edd and his friends so they wouldn't get into his way of taking over the world by himself.
- While trying to kill Tom, he destroys Edd and Eduardo's houses and kills Jon, one of Eduardo's best friends, in the process.
- Though Edd tried to reason with him by reminding him that they were friends, Tord simply rejects his offer to turn over the new leaf by choosing his own giant robot over them and boasting that he's unstoppable.
- Although he seems to be cared for his friends before, it is subverted in "The End".
Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]
- He failed the heinous standard to Tom and Zombeh Matt who had lesser resources than Tord and did worse.
- Like everyone else on the show, Tord is frequently played for laughs, such as his continuous common rivalry with Tom, or him on an episode hypothetically working as with Tom as moviemakers to make pornos within an alternate universe where Edd never existed indicating he was meant to be played for laugh.
- He relies on fridge horror, as it's unknown how bad his rule on the World would be.
- His defeat in "The End (Part 2)" is played for sympathy, with him sadly looking over the hill while Paul and Patryck heal his wounds.
Trivia[]
- There is a popular theory that Tord seen in "The End" is actually one of the Tord clones from "Spares". If this is confirmed, his status will brought into further questioning (Although there is no in universe prove).
- As shown in the 2024 Eddsworld Update video that Tord is alive meaning he's returning, his status may change.
