The Kidnappers, mainly known as the three robbers or as the bandits, are minor antagonists in Attack on Titan. They were a group of thugs that had hidden connections with criminals from the Underground market beneath the capital Mitras. They were planning on kidnapping Mikasa and her mother so they could be sold into sex slavery. They directly caused the death of both Mikasa's parents and despite their short appearance in the show, they had an important impact on Mikasa Ackerman's character and Eren Yeager's worldview.

Their Villainous Deeds[]
- They arrive at Mikasa Ackerman's house and murder her father who answers the door, believing it to be Dr. Yeager, then break into the house intending to sell both Mikasa and her mother as sex slaves to a perverted patron.
- The axe-man slices Mikasa's mother when she tries to hold them back to let her daughter get away.
- The leader knocks out Mikasa for making a fuss by punching her.
- The leader invites a young Eren into the house with presumable intentions to murder him, only to get killed himself. The axe-man then chases after Eren in an attempt to kill him.
- The latecomer tries to strangle Eren to death upon seeing his comrades dead.
- They are overall responsible for Mikasa's traumatic childhood.
Why Don't They Stand Out?[]
- Despite passing the baseline, they are not heinous enough for multiple reasons.
- With only 2 confirmed murders, they fail to stand out in comparison to many villains who have committed hundreds, thousands and even millions or billions of murders. It reaches the point where mass murder is so common, their low resources don't automatically help them.
- While their attempt to sell a young girl and her mother to sex slavery is almost bad enough, it is only two confirmed victims and this is also a crime that has been done by Fritz, who sexually enslaved Ymir as a child and is implied to have more victims as well.
- It is conveyed that they are simply goons of part of a larger operation of people who do the same thing they do, even if it's never shown. This causes them to fail the system standard.
- The latecomer shows clear care for his friends and wants to avenge them when Eren kills them.
