The Beast of Gorlax is the secret antagonist in Starbarians. Introduced briefly in the teaser (pilot), it is never encountered by Killgar and Hogstrong as they decide not to slay the monster.

- It is implied that the Beast devoured about a hundred women on the planet Mammoria.
- Unlike Siad, he is taken a little more seriously, as Mammorians are actually afraid of him and he radiates a threat to them, which is why they turned to the Starbarians.
- Ultimately, he is Karma Houdini, since the Starbarians did not kill the Beast, meaning he continues to eat women.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- He has very minimal screen time, which is why he is not well-characterized, as it is not explained whether he eats women because of his diet or sadism.
- While he is taken a little more seriously, he does have a comical moment when the Starbarians refuse to kill him due to the treaty between them and the Mammorians having expired.
- While his implied mass murder and genocide sets him apart from Siad, he still doesn't live up to the disgusting standard of Lord Necrus, who invaded and captured an entire planet, and was also responsible for the war between his race and the inhabitants of the captured planet and the mass murder of them (not to mention Necrus is taken much more seriously than he or Siad).
- His mass murder and genocide took place off-screen.
- He ends up being subjected to the Fridge Horror, as nothing is known about how long the Beast has been on this planet, or how many of the women of Mammoria he has actually devoured, as his kill count is only implied.
