| ~ Sprite to Sersi. |
Sprite is a major antagonist in Eternals.
Her Evil Ranking[]
Her Villainous Deeds[]
- Unlike the other Eternals who know how wrong this is, Sprite seeks to bring forth the ruthless deity Arishem the Judge's mundicide against Earth, which would kill billions of people.
- She fights against the other Eternals when they choose to help save humanity.
- While she is far from affable, it's not her fault because of the childlike state she's trapped in.
Why Doesn't She Stand Out?[]
- Although her agenda to destroy Earth and commit mundicide is a very heinous one, she fails the Heinous Standard to Ajak, who committed multiple mundicides successfully with very comparable resources, hence preventing her from passing the Heinous Standard of the MCU. Ajak herself fails the heinous standard so Sprite will fail it far too severely if her own singular mundicide wasn't even a success in the first place.
- Even though she and Thena are both emotionally stunted, they still have identical resources to the other Eternals and are just as powerful of beings by comparison.
- While it doesn't justify her actions, she is in no way intentionally an evil girl, being a clear-cut extremist and antivillain who genuinely thinks that if Arishem believes Earth a worthy sacrifice, then she agrees with him.
- She is extremely sympathetic since she has been trapped in a childlike state, both physically and psychologically, for centuries, if not millennia, and when Sersi liberates her from this state of being, it's played to be a heartwarming moment.
- She redeems herself by choosing at the last minute to assist in the Uni-Mind. And unlike Ikaris, she puts aside her delusions instead of using them to justify a reckless suicide like he did.
- She sincerely cares for the other Eternals, only fighting them when she believed she was out of options. She is also sincerely loyal to Arishem the Judge.
Trivia[]
- She was slated as Inconsistently Heinous, but when it was brought up that she is outclassed by several villains with comparable resources, Ajak being one of them, she was added here.
