~ Sinister Mark sadistically taunting a variant of Angstrom Levy shortly before killing his son in front of him. |
Markus Sebastian "Mark" Grayson, also known as Invincible or Sinister Invincible, is a supporting antagonist in the Amazon Prime television series Invincible, based on Robert Kirkman's Image Comics series of the same name.
He was among the 16 Alternate Mark Graysons recruited by Angstrom Levy to ruin his home dimension's Invincible reputation after he disfigured him horrendously and killed all of his counterparts under the promise of him granting every Mark access to new dimensions to conquer.
He was voiced by Steven Yeun.
His Evil Ranking[]
His Villainous Deeds[]
- Upon accepting his father's offer in joining the Viltrum Empire, he rampaged across Earth, and likely killed the alternate version of Angstrom Levy's wife.
- When he found Angstrom hiding with his son and their pet fox, he broke into the building, sadistically taunted Angstrom, flew over to his son, and killed him instantly.
- His actions, along with the actions of the other Invincibles, was pivotal to Angstrom becoming the villain he is and trying to attack the mainstream Invincible and his family.
- He killed his father.
- He took part in the Invincible War and rampaged across the mainstream universe, killing countless innocents.
- Though he did refuse to do Angstromās plan because it got most of his variants killed, it is unknown if he showed genuine care for his other variants when they died.
- When his other variants started to show their sympathy of what made them evil, he doesnāt even care and even tells them that he doesnāt care if they die and tells them that he hates them.
- When Mohawk Mark suggested that they torture Angstrom Instead of killing him, he accepts it.
- Although he was betrayed by Angstrom Levy and stranded in the wasteland dimension along with his other variants, this does not make him tragic, as it was well deserved for all the crimes he has committed.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- His crimes mostly amount to offscreen villainy and fridge horror, as it was not known what he did to cause his universe's incarnation of Angstrom to hide underground, and due to that factor, he fails the heinous standard to mainstream Angstrom, who wanted to do essentially what Sinister Invincible did to his alternate version's son to the mainstream version and his family. He also does not really stand out from the other seven variants of himself that survive the Invincible War and destroy world major cities.
Trivia[]
- While he is considered a VB as of now, his status could be affected as he may return in the around fifth season, when his infamous scene from the comics get adapted, and potential extra contents from the TV series.
