Shogo Taguchi is a minor antagonist of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, he is Otherworlder from the Nation of Falmuth summoned by Razen to be weapon of the nation.
He was voiced by Chiaki Kobayashi in Japanese, while Matt Shipman dubbed him in English.

His Villainous Deeds[]
- Even before being summoned to the Central World, he was the leader of a gang.
- He killed the 30 mages that summoned him when he awakened his Unique Skill Berserker.
- He bad mouth the King of Falmuth so much Razen used a spell to silence him when needed.
- Wished for the world to burn down and kill Razen to break free.
- Despite hating Razen and the Kingdom of Falmuth he willingly aided him mainly due to him only not having a choice but mainly due to envy of the Jura-Tempest Federation having better things.
- He first saw Shion and Shuna he thought of turning them into his slaves and sexually abuse them until he put them out of his misery.
- Started chaos which allowed Falmuth's Knights as an excuse to attack the Nation which resulted in Shion and 100 others to be killed.
- Attacked Kaval’s Party when trying to get to the Jura-Tempest Federation to reach Rimuru. (An cut scene of the Anime originally from the Light Novel).
- While he seem to care about Kirara Mizutani and Kyoya Tachibana and be friends of them due to their hatred of being summoned to a more primitive world to be used as slave, later it was either subverted or he not care about them in the first place as while he was horrified of Kyoya being killed he show no remorse of his death though and killed Kirara to save himself.
- He strangled Kirara Mizutani to death just to awaken his Unique Skill survivor to survive while she begged for mercy.
- He gets brutally beaten up by Geld and then his soul destroyed by Razen and his body stolen isn’t play for sympathy but karma for taking Kirara's life and getting Shion killed.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- The heinous standard of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ends up becoming way too absurdly high later on in the Light Novel for him to stand out even when he passed general baseline with lower resources with his acts of mass murder out of sadism, planned rape on Shion and Shuna, and killing Kirara to save his spine, acts of mass genocide by nation destroying beings or armies and higher kill counts in the thousands are the norm, this doesn't help at all the actions of Feldway and Ivaragé acts of mass omnicide ends up raising the heinous standard to the point where lower resources of his level don't even matter anymore to stand out and lacks the means to do anything worse because of it.
- Most of his actions were ordered and for actions of the Kingdom of Falmuth; though some of them he used as a opportunity to do his own terrible things that makes it an minor prevention.
Trivia[]
- Shogo's soul was destroyed by Razen and his still living body was possessed by him so he died spiritually.
