His Evil Ranking[]

His Villainous Deeds[]

Manga/Season 0[]

  • After kidnapping Yugi's grandpa, he creates a Death-T to kill Yugi and his friends come to rescue Yugi's tortured grandpa. Such as his death game comprises of a victim being chased by a big serial killer with a chainsaw. And, a laser tag death match where real mercenaries Kaiba hired are with deadly guns to be pitted against Yugi and his friends to kill them.
  • Whenever he takes advantage of an opportunity, he will resort to cheatings.
  • Inflicts a Penalty Game on his brother Mokuba after he loses to Yugi.

In General[]

  • In order to get the first 3 blue eyes white dragon he stalked owners across even different countries such as Hong Kong Germany and America. He then used force like mafia and forcing them into bankruptcy following them and terrorizing them around because they had refused to give up the blue eyes dragon willingly. One of them had committed suicide from force. He did cruel human experiments.
  • He rips Solomon’s rare and treasured Blue Eyes White Dragon Card just so that it can never be used against him.
  • Seto is rather an oppressive and cruel man. He’s a misanthrope, and looks down on others. He is generally a rude, arrogant and cold-blooded man who brags about how good his skills are.
  • He is consistently abusive towards Joey Wheeler (Jounouchi Katsuya). He looks down on him as he called him as a third-rate duelist with a fourth-rate deck and an amateur. He considered dueling Joey a waste of time.
  • He also psychologically hurts Yugi out of spite, to feel superior over him.
  • He tries to kill Yugi at his tournament.
  • He insults the soulless Joey when he thinks Joey needs a nap by calling Wheeler as a baby.
  • He blows up an island full of numerous innocent people without warning them in advance all because he acted like a sore loser and couldn’t take his defeats anymore, which is petty.
  • He only stops Dartz just so he can get his Kaibacorp back when the latter steals his company.
  • He publicly humiliats Zigfried in public, but Zigfried kind of deserved it.

Manga/DSOD[]

  • Despite the severity of his atrocities during the Death-T deadly gauntlet where he had attempted to murder Yugi, all of Yugi’s friends, and his grandfather, Yugi’s friends and family receive no remorseful apology about it from Kaiba, and even there is smug mocking when he is confronted.
  • Wants to bring Atem back from his rightfull rest in afterlife just to have one more duel and to beat him.
  • He doesn't seem to care that Diva and Sera want to prevent Pharoh return because if he return, they will lose the power of Plana which they need to created a better world. Doubling down how selfish Kaiba is.
  • he kidnap Aigami and tortures him.
  • He leaves behind his brother, Mokuba, at the end of the movie for his own self-goal to duel Pharaoh and to beat the pharoah. Despite the brother’s concern, Kaiba leaves the weight of the company on the young boy’s shoulders and leaves anyway without a promise to return, implied that he probably dies to duel with Atem one more time.

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX[]

  • As founder of Duel Academy, he makes Slifer-Red lowest dome, which enables oppressive caste system in the school based on dueling, because of spite toward Yugi. The Slifers, they live in squalor with bad food and are marginalized so it is human rights breaches, also lack of safety measures or fences and an active volcano. teachers do conniving disreputable things like hires a hitman (Titan) and there are conspicuous experiment locations such as for Wheeler the Monkey.
    • People go missing all the time, the missing persons list is so large.
  • His school has so many villain pop up, yet he remain apathy to all situations, even making deal with Sartorious deadly brainwashing cult leader to give him fuel for his plans, meanwhile Pegasus on other hand help main cast in some of the big events to defeat bad guy.

Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's[]

  • KaibaCorp Ener-D causes the Zero-Reverse which destroy Domino City. if Kaiba order a stop on the research when Yusei father ask it could have stopped, but it seem he want to keep going and care more about the money. This Ener-D destroys domino city and kills many people, like multiple atomic bombs.

Why Doesn’t He Stand Out?[]

  • Arguably, he fails the heinous standards to Gozaburo Kaiba who tried to destroy every major city in the world (anime only) and many other heinous acts, Sayer (anime only). Gozaburo Kaiba had a large amount of resources, being capable of controlling missiles, and Sayer powerful in the series of his appearance.
  • Seto Kaiba holds respect for Yami Yugi as a duelist, viewing him as worthwhile challenge. Kaiba’s high expectations are also evident after Yami’s loss to Rafael, which he felt was unearned as Rafael was a nobody duelist Kaiba deemed unworthy of defeating Yami and taking his crown just like that. Enraged, Kaiba insulted and demeaned Yami for the defeat before slamming the phone down, reflecting both his respect for Yami’s abilities and his high expectations for his skill as a duelist, as well as his ruthlessness.
    • He occasionally helps out Yugi and his group (particularly in the anime), though usually because Mokuba is at stake or because he personally has a stake in it.
  • He genuinely loves and cares a lot about his little brother Mokuba as he promised to always be there for him and protect him and even did everything he could to save him when he was imprisoned by Maximillion Pegasus, challenging him to a duel to win back his soul (with his soul being at stake too) and ends up hugging Mokuba when he sees him again afterwards.
  • He has a tragic backstory, losing his parents and getting abused by his stepdad Gozaburo.
  • He opened up a theme park where all children can play and be happy.
  • His death where he sacrifices himself to save Yugi from Diva and beg from him to bring Atem back is played for sympathy. Even Yugi mourns his death.
  • After technically defeat by Yugi and brought back to live by him. He accepted Yugi as true King of Game.
