Sandor Clegane, also known as The Hound, is a major character in the A Song of Ice and Fire novel series and its television adaptation Game of Thrones.
He is a member of House Clegane and the younger brother of its current head, Gregor Clegane, who also serves as his archenemy after receiving gruesome facial burns when Gregor shoved his face into a brazier. As a result, he came to loathe fire, his brother, and the hypocrisy of knighthood in general. He is nicknamed "The Hound" for his savage nature and unquestioning obedience to his masters and for the three raging dogs featured in his family's crest. He is considered one of the most dangerous fighters in Westeros, though he frequently drinks himself into stupors.
He is very fond of his big black stallion Stranger, a very dangerous and wild animal, full of rage, who behaves quietly only in his master's presence. He is named after the death aspect of the Seven-Faced God.
He serves Joffrey Baratheon's bodyguard, but leaves him during war. He then had a relationship with Arya Stark before she abandoned him when he git hurt, choosing to join the Brotherhood Without Banners.
In the HBO series, he was portrayed by Rory McCann, who also played The Buyer in Knuckles.

- After Sapton Ray hanged by some Rebels of the "Brotherhood Without Banners" he kill four Rebels and later threated on Beric and Thoros, stopping only after they let him execute two more rebels out of three (that also executed).

Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- While his crimes passes the baseline he fails the heinous standarts of other villains like his brother: Gregor Clegane.
- He very tragic as he been scarred in his skull from his brother that push him to fire when they been a childs. this cause him also to suffers from pyrophobia, what couse him to escape the Blackwater war.
- He anti-villian who follow after orders of leaders and some of his crimes also very Understandable. this shown when Arya called him: "You are the worst shit in the Seven Kingdoms" (after he taken money from the farmer) and he answer her that he "only see the situation as it is".
- He have some "Pet the dog" moments such as protecting Sansa from attacking Joffrey to protect her from his wrath, later saving her from rioters and offer her Escorting home and also save Loras Tyrell from fight on his brother.
- He change to hero after near-death experience when he fallen in end of battle on Brienne and try to help for Sapton Ray and later to Beric and Thoros to fight against the wights.
- He he have standarts as he disgust from his brother and from other men like Joffrey and Meryn Trant. his disgust also cause him to never try to get be a knight and announce it. he also disgust from the red wedding and called this: "massacre".
- When he became to hero he also feel regret of some of his crimes like to gave farmer and his child to starved and he burried them by himself.
- He love some characters like Arya and Sapton Ray and trully try to saving them. he also been sad about Beric and Thoros death.
- His death scene is portrayed to sympathetically and there is sad music in the background as he commit suicide by throw his brother beside him (after he loose his eyes during the fight) to furnace during the fall of the city.
- He have very comic moments.
