Samurai Sword, better known as Katana Man by fans, is a major antagonist in Chainsaw Man. He is the grandson of the Yakuza Boss who Denji killed and seeks vengeance on him.
He was voiced by Daiki Hamano in Japanese and Jason Marnocha in English.

His Villainous Deeds[]
- He is an avid supporter of his Yakuza boss grandfather and justifies his heinous crimes like killing innocent women and children over money.
- He shoots Denji in the head and tries to obtain his heart under Makima's orders.
- After transforming into his Devil form, he brutally slices Kon then attacks Aki, eventually managing to eventually curb stomp him when he is healed by Akane.
- When Himeno attempts to help Aki despite her wounds with her ghost devil, Samurai Sword, and Akane manages to overpower Himeno and her ghost devil which causes Himeno's body to vanish as she uses the last bits of her power to revive the unconscious Denji.
- He attacks Denji after he revives in an attempt to kill him.
- He cut one of his own henchmen horizontally in half just to get Denji.
- During his fight with Denji, he causes collateral damage on a train full of people.
- He sliced off Denji's arms and tried to get him to apologize for "killing" his grandfather.
- Even after being freed from Makima's control by Denji and Pochita, he is still ungrateful by saying that justice can't exist in the world while they are alive.
- Although he was working as a Public Safety Hunter, this is only because he shared his hatred towards Chainsaw Man with other hunters.
- Betrays Public Safety because they were keeping Denji instead of killing him.
- Stomps on Denji's nuts when he woke up as revenge for what he and Aki did to him in the past.
Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]
- He fails the massively high standards of the series, especially when compared to characters like Santa Claus who with less resources gave thousands of people Fates Worse than Death.
- He genuinely loves his grandfather and respects him as an honorable Yakuza member, wishing to avenge him. He also shows care for the other Yakuza members by extension.
- His defeat is played for laughs as Denji and Aki kick him in the nuts.
- He appears to have a respect if not a genuine friendship with Asa Mitaka/Yoru having liked Asa’s poetry and showed admiration toward Yoru for her fiery nature and mutual hatred for Chainsaw Man.
