Ruby Diorite is the tritagonist of the Inkopolis Chaos trilogy. She served as the secondary antagonist turned major character of Inkopolis Chaos, one of the two tritagonists of Inkopolis Chaos 2 and one of the three deuteragonists of Inkopolis Chaos 3. She is an experienced long-term octoling soldier/spy who was extremely overprotective of octolings. She wanted them to be separate from inklings, as she thought they were dangerous and evil. Ruby is tragic, has some anti villainous qualities and ends up redeeming herself. When she redeems herself, she acts like a bodyguard to Natalie and her friends, and shows a more reasonable and kinder side.

Her Villainous Deeds[]
- She served under DJ Octavio for years, with free will. However, this could easily be viewed as justified, considering how she was raised and taught all her life that they were in the right. She genuinely thought she was being heroic until she learned the errors of her ways.
- Trying to separate Samuel and Natalie.
- Calling Agent 8/Katelin traitor, despite her saving the world.
- Falsely imprisoning Samuel, and threatening to splat him.
Why Doesn’t She Stand Out?[]
- Ruby’s crimes are bog standard. She barley has any villainous acts to call her own, as her soldier work was under order from Octavio, and the only one she does on her own are still bog standard. Not only that, but she had good intentions behind everything she did. This isn’t even taking account Inkopolis Chaos’s high heinous standards, as she fails the heinous standards to Magentark Clover, the purely evil Scarlet Spiker, and even her gang members, who are also bog standard.
- She has good intentions behind all her actions, only wanting to keep her race safe. Even when she was an antagonist, part of the reason she wanted to separate Natalie from Samuel was because she was worried about her, and was genuinely protective of her, as she was best friends with her late sister, Georgina Octarine.
- She is tragic, as she lost her parents to inklings (which fueled her hatred for inklings in the first place), and her brother went missing in the metro and was killed by Commander Tartar.
- She is genuinely protective of multiple people, such as her family, Georgina, Dylan, Natalie, and later Samuel, Luke, Sylvia, Melody, Melissa, Katelin (who she grew to respect strongly, despite hating her once), Summer and Jade (who she literally sacrificed herself for, even though Jade is Agent 3 who killed many octolings in the past).
- She genuinely cares for her race and wants to protect them. For example, she killed Magentark Clover when he tried to kill a bunch of deserting octolings, saving countless lives. She even let the deserting octolings go, despite them betraying Octo Valley.
- After she sees Samuel try to save Natalies life, she redeems herself by helping pull up the rope. She then runs away and realizes the error of her ways and realizes that not all inklings are bad. She also realizes how nasty of a place Octo Valley truly is, and how horrible Octavio is. She then goes and attacks Jack, James and Jess for nearly killing Natalie, but she ends up getting defeated by Scarlet, and when Samuel finds her, she tells him to kill her. When she wakes up not dead, she tearfully apologizes for what she did. She then became a genuine hero for the remainder of the first story, and became even more heroic in the next two stories, going straight into Near Pure Good territory with her heroic acts. Her heroism and well intentions completely overshadow her villainy. She even stops Melissa from turning out like her, by saving her life and showing not all octolings were bad.
Trivia[]
- At first, the author was very reluctant to put Ruby on this wiki due to her being on the receiving end of Ron the Death Eater treatment. However, she was then given a page anyway to explain how absolutely minor her crimes were, and how they were all well intentioned. It was also a way to show that her killing Magentark was not heinous at all, and that Cyalux’s descent into villainy was NOT her fault.
