~ Risotto Nero |
Risotto Nero is one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Vinegar Doppio) of JoJo's Bizarre Adventures: Golden Wind. He is the leader of La Squadra Esecuzioni, a rogue unit of Passione which specialized in assassinations, and seeks to kidnap Trish Una and use her to overthrow Diavolo and take over the organization's entire drug trade.
He is voiced by Shinshu Fuji in Japanese, aside from Eyes of Heaven and the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind video game. In the former, he is played by Takaya Kuroda, with Akira Negishi portraying him in the latter. In the English dub, he is dubbed by Armen Taylor.
His Evil Ranking[]
His Villainous Deeds[]
- Despite him losing his cousin from a drunk driver, it has nothing to do with his current villainy.
- He worked for Passione and led La Squadra, killing people all across Italy.
- He planned for the usurpation of Passione.
- He sent the Rest of La Squadra to Team Bucciarati to murder them and kidnap Trish to find the boss.
- He tortured and killed a programmer with Metallica.
- He tortured Doppio Vinegar with Metallica after finding out Diavolo is also him. Even though Diavolo deserved to die, it was extremely cruel and painful to Doppio.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- He still ultimately fails the heinous standard to other villains such as Gray Fly, Yoshikage Kira, Cioccolata and even his own minion, Prosciutto, all with similar or less resources.
- His crimes of the killings are all offscreen.
- He had respect towards the other members of La Sqaudra, including Sorbet and Gelato, as he was visibly angered seeing their deaths and attended their funeral. Even though he told his men to forget about Sorbet and Gelato he stayed the longest during their funeral.
- His death is played for sympathy. After being fatally shot by Aerosmith, he refused to give back the Boss' iron and used his remaining power to make Aerosmith to shoot the Boss, claiming he would not die alone. Unfortunately, The Boss used King Crimson to erase half second and the bullets passed right through him, leading Risotto to his brutal demise of being shot full of bullet holes. This also makes him somewhat a scapegoat.
