Regina Mills (also known as the Evil Queen, or Queen Regina) is one of two main protagonists (alongside Emma Swan) of ABC's fantasy series Once Upon a Time. She is the former Queen of the Enchanted Forest (and later Mayor of Storybrooke) who plans on killing Snow White simply because of something Snow did to her in the past. She is also the adoptive mother of Henry Mills (whom she named after her own father).

Enchanted Forest[]
- Plans to kill Snow White out of revenge of losing her fiancé.
- Starts learning dark magic as part of her revenge act.
- Kills multiple guards after they capture her and Maleficent.
- Uses a sleeping potion on Snow White's horse.
- Manipulates the Genie into killing King Leopold (her own husband).
- Hires a huntsman to kill Snow White.
- When she learns to Huntsman failed in her quest, she takes out his heart as a way of controlling him.
- Orders her guards to execute an entire village after the villagers refuse to give her Snow's location.
- Uses an enchanted apple to put Snow White under a sleeping spell from which she will not wake unless she (Snow) gets true loves kiss.
- Casts a spell which sends everyone into a land without magic.
Storybrooke[]
- Takes out Owen's Heart and tells him to arrest Kurt for drunk driving, even though Kurt never committed such a crime.
- Murders Kurt after Owen left her.
- Tries to get Emma to leave so Emma can't undo the curse.
- Tries to expose Emma's past in order to embarrass her.
- Frames Emma for theft and has her arrested.
- Manipulates Archie into making Henry lose his belief in the curse.
- Kills Graham after the latter rejects her, telling her he can't feel love for anyone.
- Fires Emma from her position of deputy sheriff.
- Has Sidney Glass spy on Emma by placing him as a double agent.
- Frames Mary Margaret (Snow White) for the murder of Kathryn.
- Tries to seduce David in order to keep him away from Mary.
Why Doesn't She Stand Out?[]
- She is tragic as she suffered abuse from her mother, Cora, who tries to get her to marry king Leopold (Snow White's father) despite the fact she was in love with Daniel (a stable boy). After rescuing Snow White, she asks her not to tell Cora about her and Daniel's relationship. However, Snow White tells Cora about it, ending with Daniel being killed by Cora. This is all played for sympathy.
- The are a few people she genuinely cares about:
- Daniel, her former lover. She and Daniel entered a relationship at some point prior to her first meeting with Snow. However, Cora kills Daniel after she learns of their relationship, making Regina vow revenge on both Snow and Cora.
- Henry Daniel Mills, her adoptive son. Regina will do anything to keep her son safe, even it if ends up pushing him away from her (albeit unintentionally). This also helps start her redemption.
- Henry Mills, her father (for whom her adoptive son was named). He is the only one in her family who is nice to her. In addition, despite killing him in order to complete the dark curse, she feels remorseful for it, showing her love for him is genuine.
- She starts redeeming herself starting from season 2 after realising how cruel she was being to her own adoptive son.
