Randall Garner better known as The Fisher King or Sir Kneighf was a tragic killer and the main antagonist of the two-part "Fisher King" episodes of Criminal Minds, which acted as the season finale of season one and led into the season two premiere of the series.
He was portrayed by Charles Haid in Part One and by Charley Rossman in Part Two.

- When a fire killed 3 of his children and he was only able to save one, he kidnapped the one he saved years ago and kept her imprisoned for 2 years.
- Manipulated a pedophile named Marty Harris into being an accomplice and then ordering him to be killed and decapitated by Frank Giles.
- Stalked Aaron Hotchner, Jason Gideon, Derek Morgan, Spencer Reid, Elle Greenaway, Jennifer Jareau, and Penelope Garcia and taunted them by giving them hints or presents.
- Killed Frank Giles by stabbing him in the stomach with a medieval sword and impaling him with it postmortem.
- When Elle Greenway breaks the rule of talking to the public, he breaks into her house, shoots her, and writes a message with her blood while she was awake.
- In the confrontation with the FBI, he reveals that he has a bomb strapped to him and he eventually activates it when Spencer Reid doesn't convince him to surrender.
- His actions result in Elle Greenway gaining PSTD and killing William Lee when she screws up his arrest.
Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]
- He fails the heinous standard to characters with more victims and his attempted kill count is surprisingly low.
- He is a very tragic character who turned psychotic when he could only save one of his children from a house fire and he was deprived of her love by her being sent away.
- He is affable to the BAU and shows no hate for them except when Elle breaks the "Rules"
- He was honorable as he agreed to not hurt any innocent people if the BAU didn't talk to other people about the murders he committed.
