Villainous Benchmark Wiki

Who do you think continued to bankroll the project after my father got cold feet? Alas, it took some misappropriation of royal funds. So I... misappropriated. I can't have word of that getting out. While I don't regret my actions... treason does not become a prince's record.
~ Prince Alabazter revealing his true nature.

Prince Alabazter is the secondary antagonist of the early 2010's platformer RPG Keaver's Great Adventure. He is the corrupt second-born son of the High King who's willing to do whatever it takes to obtain the prototype of the Sprite Drainer and use it to crank up crime prevention.

His Evil Ranking[]

His Villainous Deeds[]

  • He continued secretly bankrolling Professor Quigg's Sprite Drainer project even after his father had pulled the plug on it, disgusted by its results.
  • He kept an illegal prototype of the Sprite Drainer in his chambers along with all the documents that incriminated him.
  • When the royal scientist Ranavith escaped with the Sprite Drainer for the good of the kingdom, Alabazter painted him as a wanted criminal in the eyes of the public and temporarily imprisoned his entire family, subjecting them to interrogations.
  • He set out to steal the Sprite Drainer back, scouring multiple towns and settlements, causing a lot of chaos.
  • He painted Keaver, whom Ranavith had given the Sprite Drainer prototype, as a criminal and in league with the Sprite Thief (whom Keaver did actually know as his childhood friend Barl) so he could be arrested and possibly even hanged.
  • He tried to kill Keaver personally, in part to silence him as he had discovered that Alabazter had embezzled royal funds to keep the Sprite Drainer project afloat.

Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]

  • He fails the heinous standard to Barl who, with (initially) lower resources brought about mass paralysis and indirectly starved the entire population of the city Crystallis.
  • He is genuinely affable, even toward Keaver with whom he is at odds for the entire game.
  • He is an extremist, truly believing in using the Sprite Drainer in the battle against crime.
  • When his father learns of his embezzlement and orders his arrest, Alabazter quietly resigns himself to his fate, stating only that he was trying to protect the kingdom.
