Player 303 is a minor antagonist of the first season of Netflix's K-drama Squid Game.
He was portrayed by Kim Dong-won.
His Evil Ranking[]
His Villainous Deeds[]
- He, along with the rest of Deok-su's gang, got in line again to get and eat more food during lunch time, stealing the lunch of other players who were left with no food.
- Upon realizing that the masked men do not punish players for killing other players in between games, he helped Deok-su and his gang in the massacre of 27 players during the night after the second game.
- During the massacre, he tried to kill Kang Sae-byeok by smashing a glass bottle on her head only to be knocked to the ground by Cho Sang-woo.
- After the massacre, he tells his teammates that if the riot wasn't interrupted by the staff, they could have won the prize money by simply killing everyone else instead of playing the games.
- He laughs when Deok-su insults Gi-hun and Sang-woo's team, saying that he wanted to kill them.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- While participating in the riot and causing the deaths of 27 people allows him to pass the baseline, his actions are pretty much the same actions committed by the rest of Deok-su's gang, making him fail the heinous standards pretty hard combined with the fact that his role in the story has little to no impact at all.
- He cares for his teammates as is shown to have a friendship with Player 040 as seen by how the latter protected him during the riot and how they hang out in their spare time like when they were playing sword fight using metal bars, and he seemed to be friendly with Han Mi-nyeo while she was on his team.
- He had remorse and regret for killing the other team in the Tug-of-War game.
