The Peddler is a minor antagonist of Child's Play. He is a homeless man, who sells various goods that he collects in his shopping cart. He was portrayed by Juan Ramírez.

His Villainous Deeds[]
- He trespasses sneaking into the blown up toy store despite it being a crime scene where he finds a good guy doll which has the spirit of Charles Lee Ray in it.
- Takes the doll and was willing to sell it for money.
- While he is homeless this doesn't make him sympathetic.
- He bribes Karen Barclay into buying the good guy doll for 50 bucks even though Karen's friend said 10 and not a penny more after hearing this he says 30 showing how greedy he is.
- The next night when Karen tracks him down she demands to know where he got the doll to which he asks if what she’ll give him if he tells her.
- When Karen reveals she doesn't have much he attempts to rape her luckily detective Mike Norris saved Karen.
- While he did tell Mike and Karen where he got the good guy doll this isn’t out of remorse but rather not wanting to get arrested.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- While his crimes do pass the baseline he fails the heinous standard to Chucky.
- He had no idea that the doll he sold was possessed.
- He has a minor comedic moment where when Maggie ask how do they know the doll isn’t stolen he points to his backside and says Steal this.
