Oogie Boogie is a major antagonist of the Kingdom Hearts franchise. He is an gambling bug who always trying to take over Halloween Town.
He was voiced by the late Ken Page, who also voiced his movie version.
His Villainous Deeds[]
- He formed an alliance with the other Disney Villains to conquer their universe.
- He ate the orb Jack and his friends needed and laughing in their faces for it. Oogie then spawns two creatures called Heartless to attack Jack and his friends.
- He insults Maleficent despite being the one who revived, thus making him ungrateful.
- Forcing Santa to be put into a killing chamber before Sally distracts Oogie with her leg.
- Assaulting Sally by body-slamming into her once Jack and his friends enter a factory room of his.
- Attempts to killing Jack, Goofy, Donald, and Sora with a few lethal maze traps with conveyor belts to serve as murder games in their wake.
Why He Doesn’t Stand Out[]
- He relies on too much fridge horror of him destroying his own universe.
- While he pass the baseline, he failed the heinous standards to Maleficent, Jafar, Scar, Frollo, and MCP.
- He at times have some comedic moments detracting his evil nature such as:
- Not able to remember Sora how he defeated him.
- Him being out of breath after being revived.
- Him charging at Santa and Dally as if Oogie was the Kool Laid Man.
- Calling Santa Grandpa and not remembering him.
- Much like his film, he was distracted by Sally’s leg and threw a fit of anger realizing he was duped.
- Him entering the factor nearly blowing near his face.
- At times him saying "come on baby!" when ever he throws the dice.
