Nocturn is the main antagonist of the Danny Phantom episode "Frightmare."
He's the powerful ghost of sleep and dreams who can put people to sleep, summon an army of ghost called the Sleepwalkers, and can absorb dream energy to make himself stronger and give himself more power. The more people dreaming and producing oneiric energy, the stronger he becomes.

- He sets on his Sleepwalkers on Amity Park, at one point battling Danny Phantom and defeated him, before putting him to sleep and having his minions, the Sleepwalkers toss him into the Ghpst Zone.
- He then put the rest of the town to sleep by slipping a metal helmet on each person's bead to keep them asleep and began harnessing their dream energy, however Danny managed to wake up.
- He and the Sleepwalkers subdued Danny and the sleep ghost brought Danny back in the lab.
- He and the Sleepwalkers went to town to town, putting the people to sleep and harnessing dream energy from them
- He made a hideout in the local mattress factory near the harbor of Amity Park with a giant antenna on top to absorb the dream energy from the city.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- He fails the heinous standard comapred to Vlad Plasmius who was willing to let a disasteroid destroy Amity Park, earth and The Ghost Zone if they did not meet his demands and if they did not made him supreme ruler after he saves Amity Park from the disasteroid. Him making people to sleep and absorbing their energy to make him powerful for him to take over the world is too common for the series since many villains attempted world domination.
- He is On and Off, as he help Danny Phantom save Earth by turning the disasteroid into intangible. While this is out of selfish reasons he doesn't betray Danny even after their alliances.
