Nicolai Technus is a recurring antagonist from the Nickelodeon animated series Danny Phantom. He is a technology-based ghost.

His Evil Ranking[]

His Villainous Deeds[]

  • In "Attack of the Killer Garage Sale", his first escape from the Fenton's Ghost Portal, he declared his name and goals to the half-ghost, who accidentally gave him the idea of world domination.
  • He infuses his consciousness into devices sold by Danny at a garage sale.
  • He manifests himself in Dash Baxter's computer and proceed to summon all of the devices the half-ghost had sold, which used to form a new robotic body.
  • In "Teacher of the Year", he once again built a battlesuit but based on Sam's character Chaos but was thwarted by Danny and his friends.
  • He abandons the suit, planting himself inside the online computer game Doomed as a player.
  • He goes on a race to beat the game and access the internet, which would allow him to spread his consciousness and uses his powers in the game.
  • In "Identity Crisis", he adds a mustahce and glasses to a photo of Paulina.
  • He then uses a wireless connection to possess Tucker's PDA, and eventually to fuse with the Fenton RV, doing the same drawing to a photo of Jack, building another battlesuit from supplies in a department store.
  • He is re-dubbed into Technus 2.0 and was unstoppable. He possesses the mainframe computer of the Fenton's house, turning it into a walking fortress.
  • In "Flirting With Disaster", he is able to keep both Danny and Valerie from catching up with him by manipulating them into a relationship and possessing Valerie's ghost fighting suit.
  • He eventually breaks the code and uploads himself to the satellite, spreading clones of himself and causing worldwide chaos.
  • In "Phantom Planet", he robbed an electronic store for DVDs and electronic equipment. He created a new, remotely-controlled battlesuit made of taxi and computers.

Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]

  • He fails the heinous standard compared to Vlad Plasmius who was willing tonlet the disasteroid destroy Amity Park, earth and the Ghost Zone if they did not meet his demands and if they did not let him become ruler once he save Amity Park from the disasteroid. Him trying to take over the world is too common for the series as many villains in the series has done the same thing as well.
  • He isn't taken seriously as there are moments that detract him like when he was taken a shower but he got knocked out.
  • He is On and Off, as he teams up with Danny to take down a greater threat in "Prisoners of Love", "Reign Storm", "The Fright Before Christmas" and "Phantom Planet". While he does do this out of selfish reason he doesn't betray Danny Phantom especially after thei alliance.
  • He does have a bit of honor, as he didn't attack Danny because it is a rule and he attends the annual Ghost Zone Truce because it is a rule teamed up with Danny to defeat the Ghost Writer, as well as saving christmas for everyone.
  • He is a scapegoat in "The Ultimate Enemy", Dark Danny crippled him and Skulker and the two need to combine their battlesuit to have a better chance on fighting against him.
  • He does show some minor standards in "Secret Weapon", he was very mad that he asked Danny and Skulker who stole his electronic staff because he was furious about it which it was revealed that Skulker stole his electronic staff.
