Mr. Snake has been hunted down for the soul to be collected for the following reason(s): he's bog-standard Please discuss it on the talk page for this article. |
Mr. Snake is the deuteragonist of the Bad Guys book series and one of the two deuteragonists (alongside Diane Foxington) of the DreamWorks animated movie, The Bad Guys (film). He is an Eastern Brown Snake who is the safe cracker, Mr. Wolf's best friend and one of the members of his gang.
In the film, he was voiced by Marc Maron.
His Evil Ranking[]
His Villainous Deeds[]
- As the Bad Guys' safecracker, he and the rest of the gang have been stealing from banks and museums for years, reveling in the infamy they earned. Out of them, Snake manages to stand out as the most devious, overtly villainous and card-carryingly evil, as well as the most abrasive and sardonic.
- He has a love for eating small, cute critters (especially guinea pigs). While a carnivore having to prey is fully justified, Snake admits that he eats them partly because he loves the feeling of killing something so innocent.
- According to his rap sheet, Snake has even attempted eating humans in the past.
- Confused on what to do with a cat up a tree during Marmalade's training, Snake initially considers eating it and then suggests skinning it.
- Is the last member of the Bad Guys to embrace redemption and briefly tries to persuade Webs, Shark and Piranha from reforming as well. Either it's true or he was hiding it.
- Mr. Snake joins Professor Marmalade to be bad but in the end, he has revealed to be pretending to join him to help his friends expose him for the villain he truly is. Mr. Snake and the gang arrest Professor Marmalade and the gang goes back to prison but gets out on good behavior.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- He is too comedic to be Near Pure Evil with moments such as not liking his birthday and wanting to eat innocent animals being played for laughs.
- He is genuinely tragic, as he never had anyone show up on his birthday in his past due to how it is a constant reminder of him that world sees him as "scary, good-for-nothing monster".
- He genuinely cares about his friends. While he pretends to join Professor Marmalade, it's a ruse to sabotage his plot from within, allowing his team to foil the guinea pig.
- Like all the other members of the Bad Guys, he redeems himself and gets out of prison early along with his fellow members for good behavior.
- His attempted man-eating is off-screen villainy with no effect on the story and while him eating a bunch of gunie pigs is heinous they weren't saiteint.
- He doesn't go beyond stealing artifacts, rendering him bog-standard.
