NOTE: Because of the events that happened in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, there have been more than a single timeline for the mainstream version of the character, therefore making this a composite profile. |
Mileena is a recurring antagonist in the Mortal Kombat fighting game franchise. Originating from Shang Tsung's Flesh Pits, she loyally serves under Shao Kahn to slaughter as many of his enemies as possible.
She was portrayed by Lita Lopez in Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, Johanna Ańonuevo in Mortal Kombat: Deception and Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, Karen Strassman in Mortal Kombat (2011) and Mortal Kombat X, as well as Kari Wahlgren in Mortal Kombat 11, and Mortal Kombat 1.
Her Evil Ranking[]
Her Villainous Deeds[]
Original Timeline and Alternate Timeline[]
- Has supported Shao Kahn in every single one of his plans, no matter how evil they were.
- Has attempted to murder and usurp Kitana along with numerous other people numerous times.
- During her time working for Shao Kahn, she has slaughtered numerous people, in some cases even cannibalizing them.
Alternate Timeline[]
- When she took over the throne of Outworld from Shao Kahn, her rule ended up make things worse, to the point where she was eventually overthrown. During her reign, she:
- Orders a Tarkatan to kill Kotal Khan.
- Destroys Li Mei's village and leaves their citizens refugees.
- Convinces Goro to join her cause.
- Helped stoke a rebellion against Kotal Khan when he reigned.
- She refused to help Earthrealm in taking down Shinnok despite knowing he posed a threat to all the realms.
- It's heavily implied that the baby she has in her MK11 ending is the result of her raping Liu Kang as she mentions disguising herself as Kitana.
- While she may have moral agency issues, due to being created as a weapon, she shows to have own opinions on others, whenever good or bad.
New Era[]
- She joined Titan Shang Tsung as a titan to destroy Liu Kang's New Era.
- She tried to kill the final warrior in Armageddon.
- Despite being a clone of Kitana, unlike Mileena's original timeline and alternate timeline counterparts, she has a clear moral agency since she never chose to do any good deeds because she lacks any interest on it.
Why She Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- While her crimes pass the general baseline, she still fails Mortal Kombat's extremely high heinous standard for her to qualify even as Near Pure Evil. Mass murder and torture are quite standard in this franchise, and a lot of deaths is all she has in terms of very huge crimes.
- Her rape of Liu Kang is only implied and not confirmed, though even if it was confirmed it's unlikely, she would pass the standard still.
Original Timeline and Alternate Timeline[]
- She is tragic, as she was created to be a weapon for Shao Kahn, only for her love and dedication to not be requited. As a result, her desire for approval gives her sympathy.
- She genuinely wanted to be sisters with Kitana, and was upset when realizing Kitana hates her.
- She genuinely cares about her lover Tanya.
New Era[]
- She relies on Fridge Horror and relies on "Kill-the-heroes" villainy, making her bog-standard.
- Despite her malicious and unpleasant nature, she still genuinely cares about Shang Tsung and her parents Shao Kahn and Sindel, especially her lover Tanya, making this a minor prevention.
