Dr. Michael Morbius is the titular main protagonist of the 2022 Sony's Spider-Man Universe supernatural superhero film of the same name. He was a noble prize-winning scientist suffering from a rare blood disease who attempts to cure himself with a form of transgenic vampirism which gives him superhuman abilities. but also an unstoppable bloodlust. He is portrayed by Jared Leto.

- He illegally smuggled vampire bats from Costa Rico to New York City even hiding it from his fiancé who tells him he could get fired if he’s caught.
- He savagely murdered the henchmen on the LCV Murnau almost draining them of their blood.
- While his actions of keeping the artificial blood from Milo was selfish with Milo even calling him out on it, it was for Milo’s safety not wanting him to become a vampire as well.
- he aggressively shoves Milo shouting at him to leave even baring his teeth.
- He attempted to flee from FBI Agent Simon Stroud and Alberto Rodriguez which results in him assaulting the latter FBI Agent.
- He snarls at Alberto Rodriguez when the latter tells him the bag with artificial blood is in evidence.
- He broke out of Manhattan Detention Complex drinking some of the artificial blood Milo gave him to track Milo down.
- He sneaks into a drug gangs secret laboratory not caring about the fake money only wanting the scientific stuff.
- He breaks the gangs leader Bobby’s hand.
- He bit his fiancée believing she was dead which unbeknownst to Michael revived her.
- He kills his brother Milo.
- He teams up with Adrian Toomes with the latter to presumably create the sinister six and get revenge on Spider-Man.
Why He Doesn’t Stand Out?[]
- He has a genuine tragic backstory of being born with a rare blood disease putting him in an orphanage hospital with the rare blood disease leaving him unable to walk and use a cane.
- He is genuinely remorseful for his actions.
- He genuinely loves his fiancée as shown when he covered her unconscious body with a blanket to keep her warm.
- He genuinely cared for Milo not wanting him to become a vampire like him and forgiving him when he died.
- He also cares for his adoptive father and sick children.
- He has several comedic moments
- He failed the heinous standards to Carnage and Cletus Kasady who killed a lot more people with less resources.
