Melvin Sneedly, also known as the Wily Wonder Nerd, is a major antagonist in the in-universe Captain Underpants comic book series within Dav Pilkey's novel series of the same name.

His Villainous Deeds[]
- Despite him stopping a large robbery, it wasn't out of genuine standards but rather just to be annoying.
- After stopping the robbery brought him fame and got him to become mayor, he created countless unfair laws, resulting in nearly the entire population of the city to be imprisoned in numerous jails.
- He even imprisoned children, babies, and numerous animals on top of that.
- After nearly every civilian was imprisoned, he created the Tattletron 2000 to imprison all the remaining civilians.
- When Captain Underpants came to stop him, he chased the hero throughout the city, even breaking his own rules just to stop Captain Underpants.
- After being bought nuclear underwear, it caused him to become big and monsterous. This caused the military to try and stop him, and, out of petiness, he grabs a military tank and throws it, landing on the gym teacher of a nearby school. Considering that the gym teacher is never seen again, it can be assumed that the gym teacher genuinely died in this attack.
- After Captain Underpants tried to stop him again, he went after the hero once again.
Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]
- While he easily out-heinouses the other villains within the in-universe comic series, the series is canonically related to the Dog Man series, and therefore he fails the massive heinous standard to Petey the Cat, Piggy, Grampa, and many others who attempt to conquer the world and endanger many, potentially even hundreds.
- He is rarely ever taken seriously, as all of his appearances were to make fun of the actual Melvin. Therefore, he acts extremely stupid in his appearances, especially in his second appearance.
