Melony Melone, or simply Melony, is a major protagonist in the 2011 Australian adult-animated sitcom web series SMG4.
She is a watermelon-turned-deity who helps out on many of Mario and SMG4's adventures, often getting them out of trouble while protecting those she cares about. Originally a villain working for SMG3, she later ditches her villainous goal and turns to the heroes' side, becoming a friend of SMG4 and his gang for the remainder of the series.
She is voiced by Kayleigh Smyth, better known by her Internet persona Wolfychu. Her singing voice is provided by Hackerling.

Her Villainous Deeds[]
- Despite being a watermelon, thanks to the fierce deity mask, she possesses a full moral agency, as she is shown multiple times to care for her friends.
- Though not a villainous trait per se, she is still rather lazy as shown when Bob tried to call her for help to fight the Eldritch Goop and she was sleeping.
- In "War Of The Fat Italians 2020", she cheated in a cooking competition against Tari by doing nothing.
- She was on board with SMG3's plan to kill SMG4 and his gang in the Youtube Arc and worked with him to steal Susan's remote.
- When Bob broke a chair, she formed a troop of arm chairs to shoot him as his punishment.
- She threw Fishy into a fountain just for trying to chop a watermelon that wasn't sentient.
- She threatened Mario with her sword when he tried to host a watermelon eating contest, causing him to be forced to change it to a hugging fest instead.
- She ruined a game all because she was woken up from her nap.
- She came close to destroying Cosco as a result of a nightmare and while she originally wasn't aware of it due to being asleep, she showed no remorse for the destruction she caused upon seeing it.
Why She Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- Despite her attempted mass murder passing the baseline, she heavily fails the series' heinous standards when compared to Niles who destroyed countless universes, Mario who turned almost everyone in the world into NFTs, Waluigi who turned the Mushroom Kingdom's citizens into T pose zombies, SMG3 who blew up the world twice, Lawyer Kong who temporarily killed every non-Nintendo character, One Shot Wren who drove Meggy insane by killing her numerous times, Mr. Puzzles who turned Peach into a monster by indirectly destroying her castle and brainwashed the whole world and Sir Benedict Cumbersnatch who caused a century of death and destruction, all of whom have similar or less resources.
- While one can argue that she stands out for giving the Box Club Leader the god box to destroy the universe and rampaging throughout the Mushroom Kingdom which endangered dozens of people, they happened when she was possessed and not in her normal senses.
- She also fails the individual capacity as she has deity powers but doesn't use them enough.
- Originating from SMG4 which is an extremely memetic and wacky series, she is far too comedic with her name being a pun on "Melody" and her character being all about watermelons. The work's heavy use of sociopathic humor automatically disqualifies her for Silly NPE as well.
- She is incredibly tragic due to starting out as a normal watermelon who couldn't talk or do things on her own terms, meaning she only assisted SMG3 against her will. Even after becoming a human, she has been inadvertently responsible for lots of conflicts like the apocalypse in SMG4's universe due to being possessed and manipulated by Niles, with her being horrified when seeing the consequences. Her love interest, Axol, would eventually be possessed and killed by Niles, pushing Melony into a state of deep despair.
- She genuinely cares for her friends as she is supportive of them and saves them whenever they're in danger.
- She loves Axol and was depressed by his death.
- As a villain, she had severe moral agency issues due to being an inanimate watermelon and turning against SMG3 without knowing what she was doing.
- She redeemed herself and became part of the main cast when she learnt SMG3's true intentions and has remained a hero for the rest of the series, helping to defeat many villains like Niles and Mr. Puzzles.
