Mel Colmcille Gerard Gibson AO is an minor character in the adult animated sitcom South Park. serving as the main antagonist of the episode "The Passion of the Jew". He is a very warped parodied version of filmmaker Mel Gibson.
Taking Gibson's more negative aspects and amplifying them tenfold, South Park's version of Mel Gibson is, to put it lightly. absolutely insane, obsessed with masochistic torture, prone to bouncing around in a Daffy Duck-esqe manner, and willing to go on a full-scale rampage for very minor occurrences.
He is voiced by series co-creator Trey Parker.
His Evil Ranking[]
His Villainous Deeds[]
- He took all of his clothes off and strapped himself to a sadomasochistic bondage table and told Stan and Kenny to torture him when they started asking for their 18 dollars back.
- After Stan and Kenny refused to torture him, he pulled out a gun and started chasing them and jumping around crazily, and afterwards when Stan and Kenny make their escape with their money, he goes full on crazy with Braveheart face paint and continues to chase them.
- He tries to ram the bus that Stan and Kenny got on with a Mad Max truck, and continues this chase until he eventually crashes into the movie theater.
- He commits bizarre and sadomasochistic acts such as twisting his nipples, smearing shit on a building, and getting on his knees and bending over in front of the crowd of people while watch on in shock and confusion.
- He demands that Stan and Kenny return the money to him and when they refuse and tell him that his movie (The Passion of the Christ) sucks. He tries justifying it by saying that if one says that his movie sucks, then they're saying Christianity sucks.
- He ends the episode by sharting onto Cartman's face and then flying offscreen, and while it was jerkish, to be fair Cartman did deserve it for attempting to eradicate the Jews.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- He heavily fails the heinous standards to others like Eric Cartman and Mr. Garrison, who did a lot worse than him, with especially Eric having less resources than him.
- Much like everything in South Park, he is played for laughs and isn't taken very seriously.
- In "Imaginationland", he helps the FBI come up with an idea to stop the terrorists that hijacked Imaginationland, by telling them that they could do a background check on the videotape and possibly find someone that doesn't belong and fit in Imaginationland (aka Butters).
