Max Poole is the main antagonist of the Criminal Minds episode "About Face". He is a malignant narcissist who believes that he is unappreciated, and starts kidnapping, raping, and mutilating women in an attempt to get the attention and notoriety he craves.

He was portrayed by Andrew Kavovit.

  • Stalked and then abducted Michelle Colucci, before raping her and then murdering her, mutilating her face as well.
  • Abducted Enid White, intending to carry out what he did to Michelle with Enid.
  • Upon hearing BAU Agent David Rossi describe him as impotent in a press confrence, he called the BAU, berating Rossi for his "mistake". After being insulted by Rossi, he wrecks his desk in anger.
  • Upon being confronted by the BAU, he pulls a gun on Rossi, intending to shoot him.

Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]

  • While his crimes are bad enough the pass the general baseline, to say that he fails the absurd heinous standards of Criminal Minds is a massive understatement, given that he only has one kill to his name.
