| ~ Marlon to the Ericson survivors about Clementine and AJ's "betrayal", wanting to frame them for the murder of Brody, even though Marlon himself accidentally killed her. |
Marlon is the main antagonist in Telltale Games' The Walking Dead: The Final Season of the first episode of episode "Done Running". He was the leader of Ericson's Boarding School and has a pet dog named Rosie. After his secret is discovered, he attempts to cover the truth of what happened to Minnie and Sophie.
He was voiced by Ray Chase.
His Evil Ranking[]
His Villainous Deeds[]
- Once when Marlon, Brody and the twins Minerva and Sophie was scavenging outside the school's safe-zone, they came in contact with raiders, who were led by Lilly. In exchange for protection, Marlon handed over Sophie and Minnie to Lilly, who would turn the twins into soldiers, to fight against another community. Marlon and Brody then lied to everyone and told that the twins were killed by walkers.
- While Brody was about starting to tell Clementine about what happened to the twin sisters, Marlon hit her head with a flashlight out of rage and ran out of the basement and locked Clementine inside. Though he felt remorse for killing Brody, he refused to acknowledge his actions.
- Tried to frame Clementine by telling the group that she killed Brody, and he, in a panic, grabbed AJ's gun and points it at Clementine and AJ and continued to tell the other kids that Clementine killed Brody and threatened, admitting he would trade more of the group to the raiders for the safety of him and the school.
- Although affable to Clementine and AJ for most of Episode One, he subverts this by trying to frame them for Brody's murder.
- While not as heinous as Abel and Lilly, he has less resources and screen time than them.
Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]
- Despite his lesser resources, he fails the heinous standards to Abel and Lilly, as both enabled Marlon's actions in the first place. Both of them have also attempted to kidnap and kill the children at the school to raise them as child soldiers.
- He genuinely cares about the group in Ericson's Boarding School, as he grew up with them and tried to function as a good leader for them once the outbreak occurred.
- His insecurities and remorse are played for sympathy, as he feels doubtful about being an effective leader and feels immense guilt for giving up Minnie and Sophie to the raiders.
- His human trafficking actions were done for the sake of the protection of the group, making him an extremist.
- When Clementine is able to successfully disarm Marlon, he redeemed himself by admitting his crimes and accepting what he deserves to get.
- His death is portrayed sympathetically.
