Marceline Abadeer is one of the main characters in the Adventure Time franchise.
She is demon/vampire hybrid born before the start of the Mushroom War times. After her mother dies she was adopted by Simon who was take care of her in post-Mushroom War times, but after Simon's mental health deteriorated they split up. Simon then enlisted her biological father Hunson, to look after her, but due to his careless behavior, she left him after he ate her fries. At one point, Simon became a slave to the Empress, which is why Marceline started killing vampires en masses until she deal with the Vampire King, although she killed him, she was turned into a vampire in the process, making her the last vampire.
She is voiced by Olivia Olson.

- She killed so many vampires they are now almost completly exterminated.
- Her breakup with Bonnie was really harsh. Although she had a reason for it, she can breakup with her without a song in witch she sang how much she hates her, her job and her kingdom.
- About 13 years before the start of the series, she was harassing sheep and cattle in Grass Lands.
- When she first met Finn and Jake, she kicked them out of (then her) Tree House, leaving them to wander through Ooo in despair for a new home. And when they found a place in the cave, she came again and claimed that the cave was hers too (although in the end she let the boys live in the Tree House while she would live in the cave).
- When they meet again, she trick Finn to be her henchman, then she keeps pranking him that they going to do something bad when she's actually doing it because she finds it fun to trick him.
- In "Go With Me" she gives Finn awful advices for asking Bonnie on a date, witch include wrestling her and putting wolves in her room.
- In "Heat Signature" she plays a prank on Finn and Jake by making them believe they're vampires, but it goes too far and the boys almost die.
- She sometimes uses her invisibility to sneak into her friend's houses.
- In "Red Starved" after becoming very hungry she threatens to kill Jake. She ended up satisfying her hunger by sucking the red out of Bonnie.
- In "Princess Day", she and LSP wreak havoc in the Breakfast kingdom and stole Breakfast Princess car and one music album.
Why She Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- She is very sympathetic and tragic, because at a very young age she went through the Mushroom War and the death of her mother, and when Simon adopted her, they separated after a few years, and when they met again, Simon already lost his sanity and became the Ice King.
- While she can't be compared to The Lich, Warren Ampersand or New Death due to them having much more resources, she fails the Heinous Standards to Stag who with way less resources kidnapped all the Candy people and stuck them on a wall.
- She is an extremist as her committing genocide on the vampires is because they tried to kill the humans. We even saw a universe where the vampires were not destroyed and that universe is much worse place to live for both humans and vampires.
- She started out as an Anti-Villain/Hero but became more heroic character as the series progressed and seemed to redeem herself.
- She still loves Simon very much even when he is Ice King.
- Although she has a strained relationship with Hunson, she still cares for him.
- She reconciled with Bonnie and they have a relationship again.
- She is friends with Finn, Jake, BMO and Lumpy Space Princess.
