Major Man is a one-shot antagonist in The Powerpuff Girls 1998 television series, serving as the main antagonist of the season 1 episode Major Competition, he is a charlatan superhero who stages fake crimes and disasters.

- He is a charlatan superhero who sets up fake crimes and disasters so he can "save the day" and gain the admiration of everyone, instead of doing genuinely heroic acts.
- This is made even worse with the fact that he possesses actual superpowers, but is incapable of doing actual heroic acts.
- He shows no concern for the citizens of Townsville, with him endangering them with his staged heroics.
- He usurps the girls of their role as the protectors of Townsville, even to the point that the citizens of Townsville forget about them and the Mayor replacing the PPG hotline with a Major Man one.
- He set the city of Townsville on fire before blowing it out.
- He wrecked the train tracks just so he can "save" the people on the train later.
- Though not confirmed, it is implied that he placed the banana peel that made the man on the wheel chair fall through the stairs.
- He hired three thugs to attack an old man so he can "save" him.
- He kicked a puppy into the street, causing a car collision.
- He overall has no sympathetic or positive qualities.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- Although comparing him to HIM would obviously be unfair considering that the latter is basically Satan, he still fails the heinous standard to Dick Hardly, who committed mass filicide despite being a mere human with fewer resources and little to no power. However, he is still above the baseline due to endangering the people of Townsville in several different ways.
- He is not taken seriously at all, being a parody of superheroes and him comically begging for help when being attacked by a monster.
- He is incredibly incompetent as he has superpowers but isn't exactly good at trying to be heroic much less his evil acts.
