Lucas Wheeler was a minor antagonist in season 1 of the syfy series Chucky. He is the abusive and alcoholic father of Jake Wheeler, the brother of Logan Wheeler, brother-in-law of Bree Wheeler, ex-husband of Mary and uncle of Junior.
He was portrayed by Devon Sawa, who also played Logan Wheeler and Father Bryce.

His Villainous Deeds[]
- After his wife's death he became an alcoholic and extremely abusive to his son Jake.
- When his brother and his family come over he drinks alcohol which even his brother and his family are uncomfortable with when Logan offers help he refuses his brother's help.
- When junior mentions Jake's gay he breaks a glass saying Jake is 13 years old that he doesn’t know what he is to which Jake says he’s 14 showing how neglectful he is.
- He breaks Jake's doll sculpture out of sheer anger.
- When Jake's school telling him about the incident with Chucky which causes him to get suspended he tells him that he insulted his friends and family in front of the entire school.
- He tells Jake it doesn’t bother him that everybody thinks he’s f**king weird which Jake calls him out in saying Lucas doesn’t care cause they think he’s weird he only cares cause they know he’s a f*g which causes Lucas to hit Jake and threaten to kill him.
- When Jake says he wishes that it was Lucas in the car crash instead of Mary he gets physical saying that he doesn’t want to see Jake anymore.
- In Season 3 when in the spirit he tries to beat Jake to death with a baseball bat.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- Despite his crimes easily basing the general baseline he fails the heinous standard to Chucky who murdered numerous people and Tiffany Valentine who murdered people with Chucky and turned Nica into a sex slave.
- He is tragic as Jake said before Mary died that he was once a cool dad and a nice guy showing the death of his wife broke him.
- Despite verbally abusing him he does eventually redeem himself and hug Jake in season 3 and accepts his son for who he is.
- He did try to get his son into art school but couldn't due to the price of it.
- While only seen with him once he does congratulate his nephew for getting into regional.
- His death is played for sympathy as even Jake regretted saying he wishes his dad died.
