Experiment-1172, more commonly referred to as Kissy Missy is the tritagonist of the Poppy Playtime franchise.
She is a gigantic version of the toy created by Playtime Co, which was created a year after Huggy Wuggy was due to the toy's massive success.
She was voiced by Emily Frongillo in her character cutout seen in Chapter 2.
Her Evil Ranking[]
Her Villainous Deeds[]
- She briefly participated in The Hour of Joy alongside the other toys, and as revealed in a tie-in video, Kissy suddenly broke the straps, knocked down two guards while chasing the other one, and began massacring dozens of employees off-screen as the cargo train accelerated. Later at 11:14 AM, Kissy returned to the same position she originally was, but now covered in blood and surrounded by corpses.
- Just like Huggy, Kissy never speaks and shows many personality traits, but her high intelligence is described enough in later chapters and shown in the "Sleep Well" music video enough to avoid being a Generic Doomsday Villain.
- In Chapter 3, Kissy threatened to kill The Intruder, mistaking them to be one of the actual employees that mistreated her, until Poppy appeared to calm her down.
- While she did kill a few employees in her self-defense, she generally passed the baseline in her participation of The Hour of Joy orchestrated by The Prototype.
Why Doesn't She Stand Out?[]
- While participating in the Hour of Joy is enough to pass baseline, she ultimately fails the system standard of Poppy Playtime as every experiment did that, and she doesn't do anything to stand out from other toys. Not to mention that she only killed a few employees in anxiety and self-defense and returned to her same position on the train, due to the fact she knew killing innocent people was wrong because it's implied to have been simple visitors of the factory who had nothing to do with Playtime Co. at all, and Poppy outright stating the carnage was senseless.
- She is mostly tragic as she was being an orphaned child who was turned into a monster and experimented on by the Playtime Co. employees as part of the Bigger Bodies Initiative. In the Home Sweet Home, Kissy was looking at a photo of a girl, possibly implying that the girl was once her.
- She redeems herself by willingly turning against the Prototype, helping The Intruder and Poppy to destroy the Prototype and end the torment in Playtime Co.
- The music video for "Sleep Well", an official Poppy Playtime song, shows she has a friendship with Huggy Wuggy, with them spending time together in Playcare while preparing for the Hour of Joy.
