Shay Lamden, also better known as King Shark, is a supporting character in the TV series The Flash.

He hails from Earth-2 and was sent by Zoom to kill Barry Allen. After failing in killing the Flash, King Shark was imprisoned at an A.R.G.U.S. facility but eventually escaped and returned to fight the Flash once more. Although A.R.G.U.S. even teamed up with Team Flash, they at first did not succeed in recapturing King Shark, who later stormed the West house in order to find Barry.

King Shark was eventually lured into a trap by Barry who ultimately defeated King Shark by electrocuting him while in the water. King Shark was returned to A.R.G.U.S. where he was used to guard an extra-terrestrial energy source.

• He worked with Zoom.
• He snuck behind the Flash in an attempt to kill him.
• He escaped A.R.G.U.S.
• He kills two A.R.G.U.S. agents.
• He breaks in Barry's house.
• He attempted to kill Flash and Captain Cold when they infiltrated A.R.G.U.S to get a component for the Speed Force Bazooka.
• He tried to eat Cisco until Flash forcibly gave him the metahuman cure.

Why He Doesn't Stand Out?

• While he certainly passes the general baseline, he still fails the extremely high heinous standards of the Arrowverse.
• He only targeted Barry and other Team Flash heroes.
• He's tragic because humans used to test on him, turning him into a giant shark.
• His life of crime was caused due to the transformation making him more savage, which makes him a villain by proxy with moral agency issues. When Barry uses the meta-human cure on him, he expresses remorse over what he did.
• He cares for both the Tanya in his original Earth and the one in Earth-1.
• He willingly gave up his chance to be human again in order to stop Grodd, ultimately redeeming himself.
