Kikimora is a major antagonist in the Disney Channel animated series The Owl House.
She is Emperor Belos's power-hungry and ruthless assistant, who is trying to become his right-hand by any means, including killing the Golden Guard, only for Belos to ultimately betray her alongside everyone else. After the Collector takes over the Boiling Isles, she helps Boscha rule over New Hexside under the guise of a teen named Miki, secretly planning to start her own empire now that Belos is gone. She is also the arch-rival of Hunter.
She was voiced by Mela Lee.
Her Evil Ranking[]
Her Villainous Deeds[]
In General[]
- She's the only major member of the Emperor's Coven to not have any sympathetic factors that she keeps unlike characters like Lilith who wanted to heal her sister's curse, Hunter who was traumatized and wanted to impress Belos thinking he was his uncle and Warden Wrath who wanted to make the Boiling Isles a safer place for his son Braxas.
- Whenever she has chances to redeem herself she unfortunately throws it all away for nothing but power.
- While she may have cared for her family in "Follies at the Coven Day Parade" she subverts this.
- Although she referred to her dragon as her pet, it's not made clear if she genuinely cares about her or just sees her as a useful asset.
- She overheard all of the conversations Belos had with the Collector and learned about the Draining Spell. Even though she learned that Belos was planning to kill everyone on the Boiling Isles, she continued to serve him, thinking she'd be spared.
- She also knew that Belos killed dozens of Grimwalkers, but didn't seem to care.
Season 1[]
- She attempted to have Eda, Lilith and King petrified and only let them go because Luz threatened her.
Season 2[]
- She attempted to kill Hunter, first by having her dragon, Princess, crash his ship. After the ship crashed, she ordered her to search for Hunter and eat him. She also intended to take all the credit for Hunter's actions by delivering the palismen he was carrying to Belos.
- She used a spell on Raine that sealed the sigil on them and wrapped them up which is basically torture.
- She becomes desperate to kill Hunter while on her mission to Eclipse Lake. She would also regularly threaten to injure or kill her minions if they failed to find Titan's Blood for her.
- When the guard captain asked her what she should do with Amity she said she didn't care. This resulted in the guard throwing Amity down a pit.
- After being told that she would be promoted, she subverted any care she previously had for her family, outright declaring that she didn't care if her family and hometown burned. After that, she immediately attempted to capture Luz and Amity.
- While her getting demoted is somewhat sad, she ultimately deserved it.
- She intended to deliver Hunter to Belos, taking sadistic pleasure in the fact that he'd kill him.
- While being betrayed by Belos can gain some sympathy she ultimately subverts this in season 3.
- While she did help King free The Collector so that he could stop the Draining Spell, she only did it because she wanted to get revenge on Belos for betraying her, subverting the loyalty she previously had for him. (Though with very good reason)
Season 3[]
- She disguised herself as "Miki" and manipulated Boscha into ruling Hexside in a way not too dissimilar to Belos.
- She ultimately intended to start and rule over a new empire, all while expressing no concern for the people who had been turned into puppets.
- She made one last attempt to kill Luz, her mother, and her friends.
- While she is seen helping rebuilding the Isles, nothing indicates that she genuinely redeemed herself. It's more likely that she was forced to help rebuild the Isles as punishment for the crimes she committed.
Why Doesn't She Stand Out?[]
- While aiding Belos in his plans is bad enough to pass the baseline, she fails the heinous standards to Odalia Blight, who actively assisted Belos with his plan to commit genocide. While Kikimora knew about Belos's true intentions, she didn't play a vital role in his plan.
- She's too comedic to be Pure Evil or even Near Pure Evil since she has many moments where she isn't taken seriously, such as being subjected to comedic slapstick, being paranoid about Hunter on the knee and ultimately being treated more like a nuisance than a true threat.
Trivia[]
- She used to be considered Near Pure Evil for a long time until she was cut for being too comedic and failing the heinous standards.
