| ~ Keicho Nijimura |
Keicho Nijimura is a major antagonist in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable.
He is the older brother of Okuyasu Nijimura, and one of the owners of bow and arrow, being responsible for Angelo, Akira and many other villains in Morioh becoming Stand Users. He wields the Stand known as Bad Company.
He was voiced by Tomoyuki Shimura and Mariko Higashiuchi in Japanese (as an adult and a child respectively), and by Jason Marnocha and Morgan Berry in English (again, as an adult and a child respectively).
His Evil Ranking[]
His Villainous Deeds[]
- After he obtained the stand arrow, Keicho shot multiple people (including Anjuro Katagiri, Yukako Yamagishi, Rohan Kishibe, Tamami Kobayashi, Toshikazu Hazamada, and Akira Otoishi) to make them gain stands.
- In order to give Koichi a stand, Keicho attacked him by shooting his neck with the arrow, which would have killed Koichi if Josuke didn’t heal him.
- During the fight with Josuke, Keicho accidentally shot Okuyasu multiple times with Bad Company and nearly killed him, but Keicho didn’t feel any remorse for it, instead just calling him an idiot.
- After Josuke discovered the deformed Mansaku Nijimura, Keicho's father, Keicho abuses and kept attacking him for trying to re-fix the picture of his family.
Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]
- Although he easily passes the baseline for killing many people who are incapable of activating Stand as well as activating many other villains' Stands, he still fails the heinous standard to Enya the Hag, who bought five arrows from Diavolo which caused many villains around the world activate their Stand.
- While he is the one activating Angelo's stand, causing Angelo to escape from prison thus indirectly responsible for Angelo committing more crimes, this is not enough for Keicho to pass the JoJo franchise's heinous standard, because Angelo is already a infamous serial killer before that.
- He is genuinely tragic, because he and Okuyasu was abused by their father, Mansaku Nijimura. And the fate that Mansaku turned into a monster became a burden to the brothers, which is why Keicho decided to use the arrow to end his eternal torment.
- He truly cares about his brother Okuyasu Nijimura. When he was younger, he was shown to be very protective of his younger brother while holding his abusive father in contempt.
- He redeemed himself by sacrificing himself to save his brother from Red Hot Chili Pepper's attack, an act that Okuyasu and Josuke acknowledge as a sign of his care.
Trivia[]
- His movie counterpart is Near Pure Evil for his crimes of killing stand-incapable people is explicitly shown. His tragic background is never mentioned in the movie, and he doesn't redeem himself in the end.
- Ironically, his brother Okuyasu is a Heroic Benchmark.
