~ Kara (In her warrior state) to Brainiac about invading Earth again. |
Kara Zor-El, also known as the Kryptonian Warrior is the evil alter-ego of Supergirl, is a major character from the 2023 superhero cartoon series My Adventures with Superman, serving as an overarching antagonist for Season 1, and the secondary antagonist of Season 2.
Born into the House of El, she is the daughter of Zor-El and cousin to Kal-El (Superman). She was sent away from Krypton by her father just before its destruction, the same day Clark (Kal-El) was sent by his parents. However, Kara was captured by Brainiac, who raised and brainwashed her to becoming the Warrior to serve as his second-in-command, The Warrior, in his quest to conquer the universe.
After the true Kara learning of Brainiac’s true evil plans, she broke free from his brainwashing ending her warrior persona.
In Season 1, she was voiced by Kari Wahlgren. For the rest of the series, she is voiced by Kiana Madeira.
Her Evil Ranking[]
Her Villainous Deeds[]
Background[]
- While under Brainiac's Programing, Kara believed she was saving planets by bringing them into the Kryptonian Empire. However, she later realized that she had, in fact, destroyed these worlds, including Thanagar.
Season 1[]
- Kara (In her warrior persona) is seen helping Brainiac conquer a planet, and informs him that she fully intends on invading Earth and forcing them to submit to Brainiac's rule.
Season 2[]
- When she arrived on Earth, Kara was disappointed with her cousin, Kal-El, for not being the warrior she expected. She gave him an ultimatum: join her in conquering Earth for the Kryptonian Empire, or face her wrath. This culminated in her capturing and delivering Superman to Brainiac.
- While being under controlled by the eradicator override during his invasion of Earth, Kara attacked Kal-El, attempting to kill him.
Why Doesn't She Stand Out?[]
- Her worst crimes—killing billions and aiding Brainiac in his quest to conquer the universe—were committed against her will. She had been brainwashed and had her memories erased, leaving her unaware of Brainiac's true intentions. Kara genuinely believed she was helping her "father" restore the Kryptonian Empire. This causes her to fail the heinous standards massively to Brainiac since it was his doing not her's doing.
- When the true Kara finally learned the truth about Brainiac’s conquest and the billions of lives she had taken, along with the civilizations she had destroyed, she was overwhelmed with guilt. She struggled to accept that her "father" could be responsible for such horrors, refusing to believe that he would commit such atrocities.
- She ultimately breaks free form her control, redeems herself by joining forces with Superman and his allies to defeat Brainiac. Together, they destroy his ship, got rid of her programming for good, and Kara personally throws Brainiac's body into the sun. Afterward, she takes on the name "Supergirl" and begins working alongside Kal-El to protect the citizens of Metropolis and defend the people of Earth.
