ā | I purge the wicked. The impious madness must end. I shall be the instrument of Armageddon. It has gotten out of hand. The end has begun. | ā |
~ Jesus' speech at the start of Inundation, and his most famous quote. |
Dr. Jebediah Christoff, better known as Jesus Christ or "The Savior", is a major antagonist in the Madness Combat franchise. He is the arch-rival of Hank J. Wimbleton.
He was an agent for the Agency Against Hank Wimbleton, who was sent from unknown regions to restore order to Nevada by killing Hank J. Wimbleton, who had caused an excessive violence throughout the region. He later defected from the A.A.H.W. and undertook the mission to destroy the Improbability Drives. Though he ultimately died during his defection against the Auditor, he succeeded in bringing about the destruction of one of the Drives, commencing a Normality Restoration event that is ongoing, and will conclude when the other drives are destroyed or otherwise incapacitated.
His Evil Ranking[]
His Villainous Deeds[]
Proyect Nexus Duology[]
- He manipulated own collegaue Dr. Hofnarr to assist him in the defeat of Director Phobos, and then callously left him alone in the infected Nexus-Citz, don't even showing any hints of remorse even after he met already insane and dead Hofnnar (As Tricky the Clown) decades later nor bothered himself with his current state.
- Although he pursuited good goals, him destroying improbability drive was said to had done only worse to Nevada.
- While he did founded Sleepwalker program with greater intentions to stop Crackpot's zombie program, it is shown clearly that it caused own patients to suffer both physically and mentally (Perhaps not as badly like in Crackpot's project but still) and he didn't even later feel regret for it despite being fully aware of this.
Madness Combat 1[]
- Joined A.A.H.W. to stop Hank for his murders and aims to kill him to restore order in Nevada.
- After Hank had taken out all the grunts who had attacked him and revived two of them as Zombies
Madness Combat 2: Redeemer[]
- He confronted Hank in a room with an elevator and revived a number of grunts to kill his foe. After Hank managed to get to the Sheriff, he reappeared and shot him with a desert eagle, preventing him from killing the Sheriff.
Madness Combat 3: Avenger[]
- Jesus confronted him again and fought him for awhile before being shot in the chest and disappearing.
Madness Combat 4: Apotheosis[]
- Jesus was revived by the Improbability Drive, now bearing stitches on his head from where he had been shot, and had gained his iconic sunglasses.
- He headed to Club M, which Hank was in the process of raiding. Jesus revived the first 1337 agent that had been killed as a zombie, then entered the dance hall, where Hank had slaughtered all the Grunts and was holding Tricky at sword point.
- Jesus revived the Grunts as more zombies, but Hank killed them all, then despatched the agent zombie. Hank fought Jesus, attempting to use his Dragon Sword against Jesus's Binary Sword, but was promptly shot twice in the head and body.
Madness Combat 5: Depredation[]
- Jesus decided that it was time to duel Hank once again, arriving while Hank was busy fighting his way through a facility full of Agents. Jesus blew open the building and revived the dead agents as a team of Zombies, then engaged Hank in combat.
Madness Combat 7: Consternation[]
- He arrived on the scene and shot dead the three AAHW operatives, before drawing his Binary Sword. As Hank was too injured to continue, Jesus opted to deliver a mercy kill, stabbing him with the sword, then saying "Goodnight, Hank." as he shot him with his revolver, finally killing Hank once again.
- Tricky then arrived, and was infuriated that Jesus had stolen his kill from him, but Jesus wasn't done just yet. Before Tricky could react, Jesus shot the Portable Improbability Drive with his revolver, deactivating it and forcing Tricky back into his regular zombie form, whereupon Jesus then killed him as well by driving his sword deep into Tricky's head and slicing away at it.
Madness Combat 8: Inundation[]
- In Inundation, he goes out of his way to try and destroy all of the improbability drives in Nevada and thwart the Auditor and A.A.H.W. to stop the madness in Inundation, which results at the cost of his life as the Auditor kills him after he activated the normality restoration, believing that it is would save reality.
- As he fought his way through the building, he battled two Mag Agent V2s. Jesus finally confronted the Auditor and attempted to destroy the Improbability Drive. However, his enemy fired a bazooka at him in an attempt to finish him off. But though he was killed, Jesus succeeded in commencing the Normality Restoration.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- He fails the heinous standard of Madness Combat where crimes like mass murder and terrorism are the standard.
- He is On & Off, as he also did a lot of good things:
- Created the Sleepwalker Program, a project meant to help people better themselves by quickly reliving another person's life events with good intentions.
- Defected from Project Nexus upon realizing it was being weaponized by Phobos.
- Killed Phobos from using Project Nexus to take over Nevada and ultimately saved it.
- Once again saves Nevada from Phobos alongside Hank, Sanford, and Deimos.
- Quits A.A.H.W. in 5.5 and ultimately tries to stop participating in the violence in Antipathy before he ultimately decides to stop the madness altogether in Consternation.
- Despite opposing Hank, he still shows respect for him, such as allowing him to get up in Depredation, giving him a mercy kill after he was constantly killed and revived by Tricky in Consternation, and was willing to put aside his differences with him in order to stop Phobos in Project Nexus.
