Jeffrey Jeffy Francois, most commonly known as Jeffy, is one of the two main protagonists (alongside Marvin) of the SML series. He is the biological son of Nancy and Jacques Pierre Francois, the older brother of Feebee and Scooter, and the adoptive son of Marvin and Rose. While he is one of the protagonists, he has done multiple villainous acts.
He was portrayed by Lance Thirtyacre.
His Evil Ranking[]
His Villainous Deeds[]
- He annoys and torments Mario/Marvin all the time, turning him into the grumpy and miserable person he is today. Notable examples include:
- Whenever Mr. Goodman asks Marvin to watch his items, Jeffy usually destroys or loses them, getting him into a lot of trouble.
- In "Jeffy's Bad Word," he says "fa**ot" a lot, which leads Mario getting beat up in a store by Tyrone. When Mario spanks him for keep saying that word, he later lies to the police that Mario raped him, getting him arrested, labeled as a registered sex offender and as a felon (which means he can't vote, nor can he own a gun), and also getting his driver's license suspended, ruining his life.
- This is also considered hypocrisy as Jeffy later becomes a pervert himself.
- In "Locked Out," he locks Mario out of the house all day and night because he wouldn't let him eat chocolate cake after he refused to eat his peas. He later gets Mario arrested for trying to break into his own house. Mario however technically deserved it after he hired a hitman to kill Jeffy.
- In "Among Us," he along with the others throws Mario into space because they think he was the imposter. While this is understandable given the situation, he still says Mario deserved to die even after finding out he was innocent because he threw away his toy guitar after he annoyed him with it.
- In "Jeffy The Sheep," he uses a remote-controlled sheep to make it look like Mario murdered him, threatening to get Mario arrested for murder unless he buys him a PS5.
- In "Jeffy's Tantrum," he destroys Mario's couch and TV, and then later tries to cut and hang himself in order to force him to buy SpongeBob Moves In for his IPad.
- This episode is also noted to be very dark as a boy was influenced to try to hang himself after watching Jeffy do the same.
- In "Don't Tell Goodman," he blackmails Marvin for no apparent reason and forces him to do what he says in threat of telling Goodman about the damage on his Lamborghini.
- In "Jeffy's Birthday Trip," he threatens to get Mario in trouble for beating him, something he didn't do, unless he rides the ferris wheel with him. This shows how inconsiderate he is because he doesn't care that Mario is afraid of heights and he also hits a wasp nest and gets Mario stung by wasps.
- In "Jeffy's 17th Birthday," he forces Marvin to steal a Taco Bell sign just because the drive-thru worker forgot his hot sauce.
- In "Jeffy's Jellyfish," he nearly kills Marvin by stinging him with a Freshwater Westheimer Blue Tang Accordion Box jellyfish, which is the most dangerous and venomous jellyfish in the world.
- In "Jeffy's Green Bean Allergy," he lies to Marvin and Rose that he's allergic to vegetables and repeatedly beats himself to make it look like he had an allergic reaction just so he can eat cookies. When Marvin and Rose find out that he was lying, Jeffy eats the cookies he wanted and gets off scot-free for his actions.
- In "Jeffy the Sketch Artist," when he gets a job as a sketch artist in the police station to identify fugitives, every time a crime victim came there and gave the description, he drew all the suspects as Marvin, just because he misunderstood what Marvin told him "draw stuff like this" since at the beginning Jeffy made a drawing of him, this causes Marvin to be arrested multiple times for crimes he didn't commit, however Marvin tells Brooklyn Guy to tell him to draw something that doesn't look like him and he gives Jeffy a description of a black man, and he draws Marvin, and everyone apologizes to him for the misunderstandings. However Jeffy doesn't feel any guilt nor did he apologize for what he done, since he says that Marvin told him to draw him in everything when actually he didn't say that exactly.
- In "Jeffy's YES Day," he hypnotizes Marvin and physically and psychologically abuses him, forcing him to do whatever he says for a whole day, then receives his karma when the day ends and Marvin turns the tables on him.
- In “Jeffy Gets Knocked Out,” he stuck a thermometer in his behind and put it in Marvin’s mouth despite him being sick.
- He assaults and even tries to murder Bully Bill merely for insulting him on numerous occasions (though it's hard to sympathize with him for constantly harassing Jeffy and never seems to have learned his lesson despite getting beat up all the time):
- In "Jeffy's House Arrest," he kills Bully Bill by placing an explosive ankle monitor on him.
- In "Jeffy's Backpack!", he attempts to vaporize Bully Bill with his backpack.
- In "Jeffy Goes To Juvie," he lodges an axe into Bully Bill's head.
- In "The Dead Body," he tries to drive Mario's car despite being too young to drive at the time, which leads to them running over Hansel with it. He and Mario would later tie up Rosalina for trying to call the police on them and attempt to hide Hansel to avoid getting arrested. He also refuses to accept any blame for it and tries to pin it all on Mario.
- In "Invisible Jeffy," he assaults his teacher, Jackie Chu (though he deserved it because of how mean he is), and sexually harasses women by spanking their butts on the beach, and also steals a sandwich and records another woman in a restroom. He later tries to steal money from Mr. Goodman, which ultimately backfires.
- In "Jeffy the Rapper!", he admits to having shot an elderly woman and opened someone's mailbox. He also assaults Crystal in the same episode.
- In "Jeffy's Cellphone," he prank calls numerous people and later a prostitute, which gets Mario beat up by Rosalina.
- In "Jeffy's Pet," he swallowed his goldfish and lied about it to avoid getting in trouble.
- In "Cody's Report Card," he tries to injure Jackie Chu by throwing his desk at him for failing him and calling him dumb.
- In "Jeffy's Pet Tiger!", he tries to get his illegal pet tiger named Orange Zebra to attack and kill Simmons when he comes to take Orange Zebra away to the zoo where he belongs. He points a laser light at Simmons' head so Orange Zebra will attack him, but Simmons overpowers the tiger and takes him away.
- In "Jeffy's Pet Shark," he catches Shark Puppet and then takes him home so he can keep him as a pet, despite knowing it's wrong to have a shark for a pet. He also endangers Shark Puppet's health by feeding him gummy worms, an egg and Cheerios, which isn't very healthy for fish.
- In "Mr. Goodman's Son Gets A Job," he steals Mario's car for refusing to get him a Happy Meal.
- In "Jeffy's Speeding Ticket," he gets 45 tickets for different crimes. It's mentioned that he performed a hit & run against an elderly woman and whipped his penis out in a school zone. It's also indicated he did these on purpose because he wanted to get tickets since he stupidly believed he could use the tickets at Chuck E Cheese. He and Mario also rob a restaurant to get the money to pay for his tickets.
- In "The Baby Project," he brutally tortures and kills the baby doll he and Junior were caring for as part of a school assignment. While the baby wasn't real and was just a doll, this still shows that he would do this to a real baby, making him an infant murderer.
- In "Jeffy's Bad Christmas," he kidnaps Santa Claus along with Junior and Cody and repeatedly punches him in the face because Santa didn't give him toys for Christmas since he was bad. Also, when Santa starts choking on cookies, Jeffy doesn't care that he's dying, but then unintentionally saves his life. He even threw the Christmas tree out of the house upon finding out he didn’t get anything for the holiday.
- In "Jeffy Plays Baseball," he knocks out Goodman with a baseball bat and then nearly drowns him (although due to the fact of how very cruel and evil Goodman is, he deserves any bad thing that happens to him, which Mario even points out).
- In "Jeffy The Explorer!", he and Junior attempted to sell Windowa's body parts on the black market.
- In "Jeffy's Lie," he lies about saving 45 babies from a burning hospital and defeating Godzilla. Unfortunately, all the firefighters quit their jobs because of his lie, believing he can take care of any fires by himself. This leads to a catastrophe when an actual hospital catches fire with 50 babies trapped inside. Despite knowing that it's his fault that all the firefighters quit, Jeffy refuses to try to rescue the babies (although it's understandable that he would be too afraid because of the fire).
- Brooklyn Guy only manages to save 4, meaning that 46 babies got burned to death all because of Jeffy's lie, and worst of all, Jeffy shows a monsterous lack of empathy and remorse for his actions since he doesn't care about all the dead babies nor does he better himself by stop lying.
- In "Jeffy The Bully," he becomes a bully and physically abuses nearly everyone around him.
- In "President Jeffy," after being elected as President of the United States, he nukes every green bean farm and school on Earth, potentially killing everyone on Earth. This serves his most heinous act.
- In "Jeffy the Boxer," he knocks out countless people just to become an undefeated champion boxer.
- In "Brooklyn Guy The Babysitter," he tries to kill Brooklyn T. Guy by burning him with lava (although it was just fake lava from a lava lamp).
- In "Jeffy's Fairy Godparents," he forces Cosmo and Wanda to hurt Vicky in any way possible. When Wanda tells him what they're doing is wrong, Jeffy doesn't care and still tells them to do it.
- In "Jeffy Gets Framed," he gets Junior, Cody and Joseph in trouble for things they didn't do and potentially scars them for life because they blamed him for destroying Rose's grandparents' ashes (although they deserved it for throwing Jeffy under the bus).
- In "The PowerPuff Jeffys," he refuses to return Mojo Jojo's money that he stole from others.
- While Jeffy saved the earth from Mojo Jojo in "The PowerPuff Jeffys," the fact he refused to return the money Mojo Jojo robbed could imply he just saved the earth to get something in exchange rather than a selfless act.
- In "Jeffy's Butler," he abuses Chives and forces him to do embarrassing things.
- In "Jeffy's Penny," he, Cody, Joseph and Junior steal Chef Pee Pee's money that he sold his kidney for (which makes this theft incredibly cruel as well) and uses it to go to New York City, later dropping a penny off the Empire State Building to see if it kills someone. Goodman shows that Jeffy was also intending to kill someone for fun, making it even worse.
- In "Jeffy's Invention," he steals the idea of Scrub Daddy sponges and renames them as Piss Pals, claiming that he invented them and then sells them to a billionaire, who later gets a cease and desist letter for copyright and takes his money back in a fit of rage. He also lies to Brooklyn Guy that Marvin put a clip on his penis so that he couldn't pee anymore.
- In "Jeffy's Ball Pit," he steals Marvin's credit card and buys a skee-ball machine, a foosball table and a ball pit with it. To make matters worse, he then reveals he crumbled up the receipt for the things he bought and spit gum on it.
- In "The Thanksgiving Stain," he ruins the Thanksgiving dinner by flipping the turkey and throwing the pumpkin pie at a lamp, thus breaking it.
- In "The Hockey Game," he and Joseph cheat to win a game of hockey against Junior and Cody and when they confront them for this, Jeffy fights with Junior and then throws him into the bleachers, injuring his face. Although to be fair, Junior and Cody tried to cheat as well and Joseph was the one who told him to do most of it, claiming they were playing like men.
- In "Jeffy Plays Grand Theft Auto 6," he goes on a massive crime spree, involving beating up Chef Pee Pee with a frying pan, stealing Goodman's car and running over a kid named Tyler with it, and stealing a tank from the military and trying to murder Brooklyn Guy with it, while also assaulting him and blowing up his car with Simmons in it, just because he thought he was playing Grand Theft Auto 6 in virtual reality.
- In "Jeffy's Forest Fire," he and Junior start a forest fire with a firework twice, killing numerous animals and endangering multiple people, and then try to stupidly sue a firework company instead of taking responsibility for their actions themselves.
- In "Jeffy's Kids," he accused Junior of eating his Kids and even got him arrested while showing no remorse which is also his fault for not telling Junior that those were his kids.
- In “Black Yoshi’s Sandwich,” he dropped a vacuum cleaner from the upstairs balcony on top of Black Yoshi’s head putting him in a coma.
- He is hardly ever punished for his actions and usually gets away with his crimes making him a huge karma houdini.
- While some of his crimes are either accidental or unintended, such as striking a plane down with a drone, putting the lives of the passengers at risk and ruining Brooklyn Guy's life in "Jeffy's Drone" and killing Rose's pet rabbit Thumper by cooking him into a cake in "Jeffy's Grandparents," he shows no remorse for them, nor does he show any concern for his many victims.
- Even though he had a rough childhood with his mother constantly abusing and neglecting him and his sister getting raped and afterwards dying by getting ran over by a truck as a result, and being deeply affected by that, while sympathetic and it once excused his actions, the latter is no longer the case since Jeffy now lives with parents who hardly abuse him, however Jeffy doesn't care for their opinion and still make Marvin's life miserable, plus basically Jeffy got multiple chances to redeem himself and be a better person but he refused:
- In "Jeffy's Parents!", Mario decided to adopt Jeffy, although he did that to get his inheritance money when he turns 18 (which at the end didn't end up happen, since Jacques Pierre Francois faked his death to make his paintins more valuable and he refused to send Jeffy his inheritance when he turned 18), and Jeffy wanted to stay with him, plus when Nancy was taking him, Jeffy sincerely pleaded to Mario "promising" him that he is going to be a better person. At the end, Jeffy didn't change and that promise was empty because at the next video "Inside Jeffy," Jeffy still misbehaves and annoys Mario.
- In "Jeffy's 16th Birthday!", Jeffy with Rosalina apologized to Mario for being ungrateful and not seeing the good things that he tried to do for them, however at the next videos, Jeffy, and even Rosalina, still harass Mario and act ungrateful to him.
- In "Bad Jeffy!", Mario and Brooklyn Guy tried to make Jeffy see the consequences of what would happen if he keeps doing bad stuff, however Jeffy is unwilling to change despite that they made him see that he will end up in jail, but he says that at least he would not have homework and go to the school and even trying to trick him using Hansel as a future version of him that of his possible future if he keep doing bad stuff, but he gets angry at Mario for not bringing the cure of cancer and a flying car. At the end of the video, when Mario asks him if he learned his lesson about not stealing nor doing bad stuff anymore, and he nods, however considering how he said that, it really looks that it was an empty promise, and it ended up true since Jeffy didn't learned anything.
- In "Jeffy's 18th Birthday!", after Jeffy saved Marvin from Nancy, and despite that the end he only adopted Jeffy to get his money but he didn't care for that anymore and he decided to keep Jeffy in the house as long he wants to stay. However, Jeffy afterwards didn't learn anything from what had just happened there, and he still annoys Marvin, despite that he wanted him to stay in the house and not leave yet.
Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]
- He fails the series' heinous standards since his crime of killing everyone by nuking every green bean farm and school in the world is based on Fridge Horror because he didn't intend to kill lots of innocent people, nor did he know that nuking would harm thousands to billions of innocent people.
- He is not meant to be taken seriously as he's way too comedic since he mostly does mischievous and silly stuff that the show continually plays up for laughs.
- He is shown to care for his friends and family, as he does start showing care for Marvin as time goes on, he loves Rose no matter what, he mourned the death of his sister, beat up and killed her sexual abuser, CJ, standing up for his friends if they get bullied, and even beat up a Bully for making fun of Marvin. He is also the only one of Cody’s friends who isn’t most likely to abuse or make fun of him.
- He has a genuinely tragic past, as he was born with a abusive biological mother, Nancy who raped Jacques Pierre François when he came to her door and she drugged him by drink with sleeping pills before she raped him which cause her to become pregnant and give birth to Jeffy, she is even cruel towards him as infant by throwing a beer at his head and put him in cage as a animal, when Feebee was born with the same conditions of him, he accidentally threw a bouncing ball towards the TV where Nancy watching while playing with his sister which caused her to become enraged and stabs the ball before she put them in cage, suddenly a drug dealer/pedophile by the name of CJ comes to her house to take Feebee but Jeffy defends his sister from him before his mom beats him and took her away, also once his 7th birthday come, Nancy throws his cupcake so no him and Feebee eat it, when she left them alone to go, CJ comes again to takes Feebee again but Jeffy selflessly beats him and throws him to window but Nancy lies to cop about what happened when she says he is a sweet boy and heartlessly beats him with a belt. Her actions also led to Feebee's death when she took her helmet and Jeffy pushed her with a bike before a car drove on her to death, making Jeffy absolutely devastated, this really shows how heartbreaking and traumatizing his childhood truly was even too this day and it is played with great sympathy.
- He can be affable and kind to some people, like sympathizing with Hansel in "Jeffy's Bike!" and giving him his bike.
- He does have some standards, as he was disgusted by Nancy and CJ for the formers actions as an abusive mother and the latter being a disgusting creep that did traumatizing things to his sister.
- He had severe respect for the rapper, Precious, and dedicated a song to her following her death.
- He sometimes feels remorse for his actions. An example is when he realized that he became a bully, the thing he hates most, he apologized for what he did.
- He's On & Off, as he does heroic stuff from time to time.
- As he was born with severe mental disabilities, he has moral agency issues, since most of his actions are done out of his stupidity. However, he sometimes takes enjoyment in doing these actions, so this is not too much of a prevention, making it rather a heinous act due to Jeffy's sadistic enjoyment, this is to the point where Marvin starts to question if he's somehow faking his stupidity.
- He can be a scapegoat at times, as there are moments where he will be unfairly punished for something he doesn't deserve. Like when he got framed by his friends in Jeffy Gets Framed, or was grounded on his 14th birthday (though Mario did it to keep it a secret) only for Brooklyn Guy to steal it from him, or when he was grounded because his parents mistook Drawing Jeffy for him.
Trivia[]
- Jeffyku (Jeffy's counterpart in the Jeffy Ball Z series), does not count as VB due to not doing anything really villainous and the series being non-canon.
