After Nilfgaard and his commando lost this war, he survived the execution in the Scoia'tael condos and went into exile in Zerrikania. Some time later Isengrim to the northern continent as Wolf Isengrim, where he took up residence in Novigrad to help Dijkstra form his criminal organization.

Her Evil Ranking[]

Her Villainous Deeds[]

General[]

  • Although the Iron Wolf was loyal to the Nilfgaardian Empire, going into battle with them or following orders, he did so out of pragmatic reasons when the Empire was a pawn for him to achieve his goals.
  • Like most Elves from Scoia'tael, he has a contemptuous look at people. No matter who is the human race, he kills everyone around him without hesitation, regardless of whether someone is a racist or an ordinary villager belonging to the human race.
  • Isengrim's personality is characterized by ruthlessness in committing immoral acts, lack of fear, unpredictable intelligence, and inflicting pain on his enemies in a rather cruel manner. All this makes the Iron Wolf a formidable opponent.
  • Although the intention to combat non-human racism against humans is very noble in theory. It is his actions against humans that are worthy of condemnation, giving some humans reasons to despise his actions and to hate elves.

Past[]

  • After the end of the First Northern War, Isengrim joined the Scoia'tael in 1263, fighting against the humans of the countries of the northern continent.
  • After constantly achieving feats as a partisan, Isengrim jumped over the threshold so much that he became the leader of the entire Scoia'tael known as the Iron Wolf and that he is a charismatic and cruel elf. Thanks to this, he became considered by the northern kingdoms as the number one national enemy and ended up on wanted lists.
  • He allied himself with the Nilfgaardian Empire in the hope that this would greatly weaken all the kingdoms on the northern continent due to the racism of humans towards non-humans that prevailed there.

Present[]

  • When contacted by Francesca discussing a plan to eliminate the mages and sorcerers from the north on the Thanedd peninsula. Isengrim supported Francesca's plan, regardless of the security of the continent.
  • While Francesca's plans are being implemented, Isengrim informs Nilfgaardian allies such as Cahir, Rience and Vilgefortz about the implementation of her plan and what responsibilities they are to fulfill.
  • The Scoia'tael under his command sailed on the ship Breemervor, hidden in the fog by Rience so that they could successfully launch an unexpected attack on Thanned.
  • Isengrim, leading his Scoia'tael group, caused chaos and an assassination attempt on Thanedd, ordering his Scoia'tael men to kill every sorcerer found on Thanned. This act led to the deaths of hundreds of sorcerers not only on the northern side, but also those who did not want to side with the conflict, such as: Marquard, Rejean and Bianca d'Este.
  • On the orders of the Nilfgaardian Empire, Isengrim kidnapped Cahir for delivering False Ciri to the emperor along with Vilgefortz and Rience. After they kidnapped Cahir, he ordered the hunters to deliver him to the Nilfgaardians.
  • After kidnapping a Nilfgaardian spy named Jan Struycken, Isengrim listened to him, punishing his men to torture him by putting his head in an anthill full of ants. When he told all the information to Isengrim, he let him go free to explain to Vattier that Isengrim was not a traitor to Vilgefortz, and threatened him that if they betrayed him again, he would kill them without mercy.
  • Isengrim took over the Vrihedd brigade, one of the most dangerous units in the entire Scoia'tael, due to his activity. When he began to command this brigade, it gained a bad reputation due to war crimes and cruel mass murders of knights on the North continent and defenseless civilians.
  • He joined the Battle of Brenna on the orders of Marshal Menno Coehoorn, where he and his brigade were to attack Vhrihedd Temeria and Redania.

Why he Doesn't Stand Out?[]

  • Despite meeting the general requirements, he does not meet the high heinous standards because most of his deeds are performed on someone's orders, which is why he is not comparable to such villains who committed their deeds of their own free will as: Vilgefortz, Eredin or Emhyr var Emreis.
  • Despite the heinous acts Isengrim has committed, he is still an extremist who fights against the persecution and discrimination of non-humans.
  • He is honest at many times, keeps a certain code of honor and is polite to those around him, regardless of whether they are enemy or ally.
