Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]

  • Isaac fails the high heinous standards to characters like Dracula, who throughout the series attempted a genocide on mankind, Actrise, a vampiric child murderer, and Brauner, who used WWII to bring back Dracula's castle and plotted to usurp him. Isaac's crimes are too standard that is common among Dracula's minions.
  • He’s genuinely loyal to Dracula as he wanted to resurrect him and is angry with Hector for preventing him protect their master from Trevor Belmont, this led Isaac to view Hector as a traitor.
  • Despite how evil he is as a person, there is some tragedy in his character as he felt Dracula preferred Hector's power over him causing Isaac to be jealous and Dracula's curse amplifying his violent tendencies. Not only that but his sanity seem to have decline overtime with the curse making him insane, which creates a moral agency problem.
    • Its even stated in the game that he is but a pawn for Count Dracula with his body being used as a vessel for Dracula's return with his master not even acknowledging him. In this way, he is much of a victim of Dracula's manipulation like Hector was.
