Illuso is a minor antagonist of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventures: Golden Wind, serving as the main antagonist of the Purple Haze vs. Man in The Mirror Arc. He is an assassin for La Squadra.

He joined La Squadra as an assassin and contracted killed many people, one of his victims being Sheila E’s sister.
Planned to overthrow Diavolo and take over the drug trade with the rest of his members.
Attempted to kidnapped Trish Una to find Diavolo.
Trapped Fugo into the mirror world to kill him.
Attempted to murder both Abacchio and Giorno.
While he did get motivated by the deaths of Gelato and Sorbet and got severely underfunded by Diavolo, he was still a contract assassin and an evil person.
While most of his killings are off-screen, one of his victim, Sheila E’s sister's murder has on-screen impact of motivating Sheila to avenge him, allowing him to pass the baseline.

Why Doesn’t He Stand Out?[]

He fails the heinous standard to other villains, such as Diavolo, Cioccolata and Formaggio.
His contract killing is offscreen.
He had respect for his fellow La Squadra members, and was visibly distraught at Gelato’s and Sorbet’s deaths, even going to their funeral.
His death is extremely brutal and painful. After being infected with Purple Haze's virus, he was beaten by Purple Haze over and over again until his body was dissolved by virus and melt down to became a pool of liquid, which is way too cruel for his standard crimes of the series, ultimately making him a scapegoat.
