The Ice Emperor is the secondary antagonist of Season 11: Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu and a minor character in Season 15: Crystalized of LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu. He is the emperor of the Never-Realm who came to power decades ago, turning the realm into a place of devastation and fear. In reality however, he is Zane, the Ice Ninja. After losing his memory decades ago, he'd be manipulated by Vex into becoming a ruthless pawn in his plan in taking "revenge" against the Formlings and taking over the Never-Realm.
He is voiced by Brent Miller.

His Villainous Deeds[]
- He was manipulated by Vex and later they scared Grimfax and gave him the option of submitting or perishing. The former ruler surrendered, allowing Zane to take his throne.
- Zane took up a new set of armor and a helmet, as he took his place on the throne. Now christened the Ice Emperor, Zane sent an eternal winter across the land while Vex quickly took his place as his advisor.
- As a result, the Ice Emperor sent Boreal to freeze the village, leaving Akita and her brother Kataru (who was taken prisoner) as the only survivors.
- Hearing this, the Ice Emperor states they must be punished but Vex advises him to destroy them instead and he agrees.
- At the moment, the Emperor started to freeze Grimfax for his failure but stopped mid-way, as the latter pleaded with him. The Emperor pardoned him for his failure and told him that he would atone.
- The Emperor silenced him and stated he would unleash Boreal. He later awoke his dragon set him after the ninja and the fishing village, resulting in the people being frozen but the ninja escaped.
- After Lloyd arrives and tries to make him remember who he was, he does not listen and imprisons him in his castle.
- He later fights Lloyd and Akita, and manages to freeze Akita, and he almost froze Lloyd until Vex unintentionally reminded him of who he was by saying that Lloyd failed to protect his friends causing the Ice Emperor to remember who he was.
Why Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- Although he passes the baseline with his genocide of the yeti, freezing the Never-Realm people for decades, and harsh rule over his kingdom, he fails the heinous standards to Vex, as all of his crimes were under Vex's orders, who was manipulating him.
- He is incredibly tragic due to being the heroic Ice Ninja, until he was manipulated into becoming evil by Vex and was holding the Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu, a dangerous scroll that causes who is holding it, to become corrupted by it, meaning that he has moral agency issues.
- Due to this he is an villain by proxy, as his worst acts were caused by being brainwashed by the Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu and being manipulated by Vex, rather than a genuine desire to be evil.
- He redeemed himself after recovering his memories, destroying the Scroll of Forbidden Spinjitzu which saved all of the frozen people and freed everyone from the Never-Realm from the harsh Winter.
