Harold Lorre is a supporting antagonist in the comic series Crossed, serving as the main antagonist of Crossed: Psychopath and a supporting antagonist in Crossed: Badlands. He is a former party store owner who became an obsessed rapist after the apocalypse began.

His Villainous Deeds[]
- Before the apocalypse occurred, he would regularly stalk women who came into his shop to fuel his lust. It's also implied that he may have raped some of them.
- After the apocalypse occurred, he started raping Lori multiple times a day, knowing that she couldn't call for help since the Crossed would hear them.
- He had sex with Nicole's corpse and manipulated Edmund into doing the same by saying that they needed to make it looked like a Crossed killed her, but it's later revealed that they could have just mutilated her body and had no reason to do so, leaving Edmund crying after that.
- He killed Darwin by stabbing him with a broken bottle before then tearing his face off. He would later cut off his privates and put them in his mouth.
- He raped Claire three times and then killed her by tearing her face off to make it look like the Crossed did it to further manipulate Amanda and Nick.
- He shot Nick multiple times, raped him and then left him to die at the hands of the Crossed.
- He attempted to have Amanda eat Lori's left nipple to turn her into a Crossed, but then changed his mind and thought on raping her instead.
- After Amanda was able to escape from him, Harold likely went to look for other women so he could rape, although he could have also have died from infection due to Amanda taking off his lips.
- He is one of the most heinous normal humans in the Crossed comics, being just as heinous if not more than Joe Pratt; this is also helped by the fact that he has lower resources than him.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- Despite passing the baseline and being one of the most heinous normal humans in the Crossed, Harold fails the enormous heinous standards of the comics due to cannibals, serial rapists, and pedophiles being standard in this series.
- He truly cared for his now dead children, crying when looking at a photo of him, his children, and Lori.
- He has moral agency issues. He has an inability to perceive himself as wrong or how situations were shown he perceived them different, such as what happened with Lori. He actually shows to believe that Claire and Darwin were dangerous and a Nick was a rapist who hurt Amanda and shown to have thought he was doing good by killing them. He also shows to have hallucinations that he cannot seem to perceive as real or not.
Trivia[]
- He and Joe Pratt are rare example of Villainous Benchmarks (who are generally not very heinous and have multiple redeeming qualities) that are extremely heinous and have few (or in Joe's case none) redeeming qualities, but fail the astronomical standards of Crossed. Had they been in other works, Harold and Joe would have very likely been categorized as Near Pure Evil and Pure Evil respectively.
