Fredbear is the secondary antagonist of Season 1 of Tony Crynight's Five Nights At Freddy's series. Loosely based on the horror game franchise of the same name. He was originally the owner of his titular Fredbear's Family Diner (Now known as Freddy Fazbear's Pizza) alongside Springtrap, until Freddy Fazbear came along and wanted to make some changes to the place, such as adding new animatronics. Fredbear and Springtrap disagreed with this and tried to kill Freddy in his sleep, ironically enough, Fredbear was the one who took the fall and was crushed to pieces after he rammed a hammer into a wall and falling debris crushed him. Despite this, his old friend Springtrap was able to revive him through the chip containing his personality which was inside of Mangle, which remained dormant until Springtrap found a way to revive the chip by switching Mangle's essence into him. When revived he becomes vengeful on Freddy and his friends for taking over his restaurant and is bent on killing them all. He is voiced by Jonathan Jones (Laphin Hyena).

His Villainous Deeds[]
- While he used to be a benevolent businessman working at Fredbear's Family Diner, he completely subverts this when Freddy arrives and tries to kill him in his sleep, only because he didn't agree with his ideas to change the restaurant. This later becomes his downfall as he accidentally rammed his hammer into a wall, causing debris to fall on him.
- Fredbear's actions caused Springtrap to be kicked out where which made Springtrap vengeful. This makes Fredbear responsible for Springtrap's fall to villainy.
- After being revived, he tries to kill Freddy once again, along with his friends who had nothing to do with his downfall into villainy.
- He assaults Bonnie and Chica and causes them to fall on the floor.
- He tried to kill Foxy for impaling Springtrap.
- He once again tries to kill Freddy with his hammer, but fails due to Freddy reviving Mangle's essence inside of him.
- Despite only saying two words, he has a clear characterization in which he is vengeful and wants to get rid of Freddy for taking over his restaurant.
- His crimes of attempting to kill Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy and indirectly caused Springtrap's fall to villainy allows him to pass the baseline
Why He Doesn't Stand Out[]
- He suffers from some fridge horror since it is unknown rather or not Mangle is in pain for her essence inside of him.
- He cares about Springtrap, as he was visibly upset at Foxy for impaling him, showing that he cares about his former partner.
- He seems to have moral agency issues since he was revived by Mangle's essence.
